And spare the nonsense about he was protecting against Comey's possible lies since Comey documented everything in contemporaneous memo's which could be checked against his testimony and they already existed independent of Trumps stupid bully boy stupidities.

That said I didnt want Hillary Clinton chosing our next 2 or 3 supreme court justices so I voted Trump.
It worked out well and no Trumps not perfect, but that doesnt excuse the actions and behaviour of his detractors over the last few months

Also, I am much more opposed to a political party trying to undermine a duly elected President and his agenda by any means necessary than I am a fan of Trump.

Did you see the Texas Lyceum poll showing trump 42-54 in your Texas and Cruz and O'Rourke tied at 30 with 37% undecided. I can't imagine Cruz wanting to make trump's wealthcare worse .

Well, if you're going to conduct investigations looking for evidence, what Trump did is no more disgusting. And that's not even a back handed compliment. It's just a quid pro quo. I don't like any of it, but the last time I looked, I'm not the one calling the shots.

Libs are outraged and that means they've missed the entire point of the tweet.
That tweet FORCED Comey to consider the probabillity that their conversations were taped.

That made all the difference in the world when it came to his testimony. He could either risk perjury by lying what Trump said thereby giving the collusion and obstruction narrative a huge boost, or he could tell the truth.

Comey could have embellished his testimony and it would have been his word against Trumps and the media would have had a field day with it

He didnt, he confirmed Trump was never under investigation and that Trump told him to check out his associates
His testimony killed the Russian collusion lunacy and forced the Dems to focus on obstruction

That tweet effectively took all the wind out of the left's sails on the Russian collusion narrative. After Comey's testimony, they immediately switched the narrative to "obstruction of justice". And their case on that is considerably weaker.

No...he used it to keep Comey honest when he testified before congress. In his own way Comey admitted as much in his testimony.

More polls NIMBY ? And Im use to the Democratic threats and projections that soon, very soon Texas will be Blue.

If the Democrats cant come up with a clear and concise policy driven message soon, and stop focusing exclusively on Trump hate, theyre going to continue to lose and lose badly

The anti-Trump rhetoric and identity politics can only do so much, your not going to woo back blue collar voters by going back to the same well over and over again.

They need to decide SOON, are they going to turn Left and push a Left wing agenda, or are they going to turn to the center

I supported Ted Cruz in the primary but Trump converted me into a believer.

No question Cruz was a worthy candidate, however Trump was just better.

Lol...yea it did. Ofcourse at the time the signifigance of it escaped them.

They never realized why Trump tweeted that out, other than he was just being himself. They were celebrating before Comeys testimony, bars opened up early and MSNBC and CNN were talking impeachment.

Otherwise it would have been Comeys word against Trumps, and Comey, a 6'8" women scorned would have embellished his testimony to feed the Russian collusion and obstruction narratives.
The media would have had a field day with Comeys testimony, instead they were forced to switch narratives to obstruction.

We even ended up getting a bonus. He in effect brought out in the open that Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch obstructed justice in the probe into Hillary Von Pantsuit's email scandal.
