Otto Warmbier has died days after release from North Korea, hospital says

It isn't that the letter is poorly worded, it is the structure of it that is peculiar. While I don't know Korean, I am familiar with Japanese and if I am not mistaken they are similar. This letter sounds similar to stuff that my Japanese colleagues would say while trying to speak English. There is little doubt in my mind that this was a prepared statement for him.

You seem to have Obama confused with God. Since when was it the presidents job to micromanage the lives of every single US citizen both here or abroad? Come on, admit it, Reinoe...you don't believe in taking personal responsibility or a smaller, less intrusive government...noooo, you prefer a fascist, authoritarian, nanny state run by a half wit tyrant. And N. Korea didn't release Otto because of your 'dear leader, Trump'...they released him because they put him in a coma and didn't want to care for him anymore.

I believe he could have done more, but to think he could have done enough here to get the guy home safe and in one piece is probably pushing it. One thing about Obama though. He was loathe to spend political capital. And, I'm not sure why.

This man is very much responsible for his own fate. I've made it very clear of that. However the Obama administration sent him to North Korea to engage in shenanigans and then left him there to die. It's his fault for foolishly trusting the Obama admin and it's the Obama admin's fault for sending him there to begin with.

A young American just expired due to the horrific treatment he received in incarceration after a kangaroo court trial. If you haven't been keeping up on what the experts say caused the excessive amount of brain damage Otto received during his incarceration in N. Korea, maybe you should take the time to find out maybe you wouldn't be making so many jokes.

It ain't a joking matter. On the contrary, it is an absolute travesty that bastards would do such things to another human being.

Oh stop being ridicuous, the kid was obviously forced to read the confession. It sounds exactly like North Korean propaganda. Also, North Korea obviously ****ed up and was slowly killing him and just released him before he would die to have less bad headlines.

You are right. It's not funny at all. But this was a educated young man who attended schools that were supposed to encourage critical thinking? Why would any intelligent human being want to go to Kim's personal playpen of human carnage and steal a sign?

Like they say.............It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.

When asked whether exams showed Warmbier had been beaten, Kantor said they ran a battery of tests looking at all the long bones, ribs, pelvis and skull.

Stop lying, reinoe....Obama didn't have anything to do with the Young Pioneer Tours, located in mainland China...and he didn't send Otto anywhere. But...Trump is the one that brought him back in a coma. Was that part of the negotiations, too?

He was in China when he saw the junket to N. Korea. He was just 21 years old.

How many times in your travels have you went to one country but saw an advertisement that lured you to take a trip to another for a couple of days? I have.

He was already in China visiting not exactly known for "freedom" when he took the side trip.

And you don't really know if he stole a sign or not, now do you.

I don't give a damn how you want to spin this, bottom line, the kid sure as heck didn't deserve what he got.
 
I hope every day for a few seconds that I will wake up and find the fat bastard of NK dead by the hands of his own people.
