Georgia special election may be the most expensive US House race ever

I totally agree. If I had my way I would have a law that basically states if you can't vote for him or that elected office, no donations to anyone or anything associated with that elected office. This includes outside groups, pacs or what have you. In this race, only the people and organizations living or residing within the 6th district ought to be able to give money or sponsor TV ads or what have you.

But with money considered speech, that is going nowhere.

The GOP with their Citizens Divided 1.0/2.0 wish to disagree with you brother Pero .

How did the election go unfairly? How did the GOP cheat you?

The GOP congressman in GA-11 is bragging that the VA shootings will help Handel win. And that's one of the nicer things I've heard from the GOP side of this election today .

Cool. Means that I am better at this than the big boys.

GOP pollster Robert Cahaly from Trafalgar group, the one that got last year right, had it 47-47 before the shooting and believes the shooting will swing the election to Handel. In their SurveyUSA poll, more men were undecided than women, and we know how men swing .

Cool.

And you support the carpetbagger.....right?

You should see the nonsense democrats have been running here in Virginia up till last week.

With all due respect, Ossoff lived there and went to Paidella, a private school in the district. He left the district to support his wife's going to the college of her choice, which is a commendable thing to do. So I don't see how he is a carpetbagger.

You know what?

I never did any research of my own on the man, and went off media info and talk.

He was born there!

Thank you for correcting me!

Yeah, no. She's was born in DC, grew up in Maryland.

Not sure how that makes him a 'carpetbagger' and her exempt from your criticism.

No problem. I'm not a Democrat either, but I haven't lost my principles. Good to see you haven't either. :)

Let them. It has always peeved me off to see folks trying to influence an election here in Georgia with money from out of state, out of state folks buying political ads etc. I see not difference in people who can't vote for a particular office trying to influence its outcome than with some foreign government trying to do so.

It's the people of the United States that should decide on their own whom will be their president. It is the people of a particular state who should decide on their own who should be their senator, the people of a particular congressional district should be able to decide on their own who should be their own representative and so on.

No one outside those boundaries should have any say or influence.

Try the tweets from trump supporter Robert Shelton a.k.a. @roberts rooms to see how low we always knew the GOP could go.

Cool.

trumpbot Stewart almost beat the GOP elitist Gillespie in your VA. That would have been Cantor like.

Who grew up in DC and who grew up in the 6th?

The carpetbagger nonsense has long been thoroughly debunked.

Besides, GOPs have far better lying smears to throw at Ossoff anyway .

That's why I hate talking heads some times, you get third party info and run with it.

I can play the fool quite well at times. ;)

Hey at least you admitted you were wrong.

Don't see that often here! I can be better at admitting when I am wrong.

:applaud

As long as your federal senator or representative votes on issues that have a negative effect on me, you can expect me to work against them, especially including small donations, not the Koch brothers type .

So you think you ought to have a say on whom Georgia elects or doesn't? I don't think I should have a say in anyone elected outside of the state of Georgia, that it should be for the people of that particular state. If one wants a say in whom Georgia elects, move here.

Ever since 5 dimes put out odds on the Ga. 6th Ossoff was way ahead 2 weeks ago he was
-300 to win. Today was the very first day the sportsbook now have Handel as the favorite to
win a day before the election. What a comeback!
