Trump unveils new restrictions on travel, business with Cuba

I've said many's a time that we should start boming the Sanai, move east and stop at the Chinese border. **** Saudi Arabia too.

More empire, that's the ticket. Utterly consquence free ain't it.

The last time I was there the cost of stay was close to half what it would be in Hawaii. The landscape is pristine, there are thousands of historical land marks and American culture of Walmart, McDonald's, etc. have not ruined the view of anything. The people are far more friendly and there are NO restrictions a tourist can go...often for Europeans the site they want to see is Guantanamo Naval base where torture takes place.

As far as I am concerned I hope Trump returns things to where they were before Obama.

Oh, and the street level food is ten times better than McDonald's or any of the fast food **** in Canada or the US

Well yes, though, I am surprised that it would be half as expensive as Hawaii. I would have expected much lower prices, more like Romania or Russia at the beginning of the 1990s. That would be a living like the beginning of the 20th Century outside the large towns destroyed by the command economy of the Castro era.

This is nothing but Trump and Bannon trying trying to roll back the last 8 years. There was a Black man in the WH, they have to erase that memory.

Kind of like Stalin painting out images of his enemies.

Shoulda known someone would play the race card.

It's funny to watch people glorify communism.

I'm sure you have some great examples of this to share with us right? Nah... Im sure you'll just say these empty platitudes and act like you actually said something at all.

Examples? How about his entire presidency, for example? LOL!

No what is stupid, is to think that the same policy that has been going on for 40 years will finally work now.. it is a Homer Simpson moment.. Obama had the right idea... to slowly give the people of Cuba hope and it worked. Cuba has opened up more and more, and the Castro brothers wont live forever.

Cuba has opened up its jails more. Arrests and detaining of political opponents has increased over the past couple of years. Which is what Trump is responding to.

The theory that economic reform leads to political reform is an interesting theory that has had a largely bipartisan pedigree over the years. But the present example of China should at least be pause for consideration as to how accurate the theory is.

More bs. If this was a concern at all, then Trump would be throwing similar sanctions on half the countries on the planet.

No, you probably touched yourself and came up smelling like crap. You posted something utterly retarded and you alone own it.

Oh, boy. The left is so predictable. Unable to make a well reasoned response (because you are usually wrong), you resort to name calling. In other words, an unconditional surrender. Thank you.

He would do better to focus on our for profit prison system that has returned america to profiteering from bondage and convict leasing.

Oh, boy. The left is so predictable.
Good for you, you will be able to predict what they will do next.

Unable to make a well reasoned response
The only reasonable response to the idiocy you posted was to call it what it was, utterly retarded. The sad part in your case is that that is about the only thing you can post.

(because you are usually wrong)
You have yet to prove a single instance of that.

you resort to name calling.
Based on the level of intellect in your posts it is of no surprise that you can not tell the difference between comments made on posts and name calling. Have someone explain that to you.

In other words, an unconditional surrender. Thank you.
You are welcome, your self awarded prize is truly only worthy of you.

I understand your disappointment. I'm concerned I may need a visa to visit Europe at the last minute because of the row about Romania and a couple other Eastern countries not being able to travel to the US visa free.

Which item did you see your independent travel covered under?

1. Family visits
2. Official business of the U.S. government, foreign governments, and certain intergovernmental organizations
3. Journalistic activity
4. Professional research and professional meetings
5. Educational activities
6. Religious activities
7. Public performances, clinics, workshops, athletic and other competitions, and exhibitions
8. Support for the Cuban people
9. Humanitarian projects
10. Activities of private foundations or research or educational institutes
11. Exportation, importation, or transmission of information or information materials
12. Certain export transactions that may be considered for authorization under existing regulations and guidelines.

For the record, friends who have gone really enjoyed themselves on the tours.
Thanks for your input Ali. There's several of the dozen, to which I believe I might legally qualify.
