Izmir was a very Greek city, and the Greeks were mostly run out of town after 1922. Jews were not treated so badly by the Turks, relatively speaking.

Kind of reminds one of those "daily rantings" about Obama, painting him everything from a fifth column Communist to an escaped monkey from a zoo. Some people have suddenly found religion.

What you described was the work of low level alternative media and online trolls. Which is entirely different from billion dollar media conglomerates who have the ability to reach most of the country with their fake news propaganda.

On his worst day Obama was never subjected to the relentless media assault Trump has faced. I did not vote for Trump but I recognize a feeding frenzy when I see one.

Syria - too soon to tell
Afghanistan - probably not, there being no good policy answer.
Supreme Court - definitely not. See the deliberate incompetence in Gorsuch's dissent in the same sex birth certificate case just out.

I will spend no time defending DJT, for whom I did not vote, but his flaws can't hide BHO's.
