U.S. immigration authorities have arrested and moved to deport 199 Iraqi immigrants, mostly from the Detroit area, in the last three weeks after Iraq agreed to accept deportees as part of a deal removing it from President Donald Trump's travel ban, officials said on Wednesday.

The overwhelming majority of those arrested had criminal convictions for crimes including murder, rape, assault, kidnapping, burglary, drug trafficking, weapons violations and other offenses, Christensen said.

I'm glad that Trump is at least trying to make good on his promise to the voters, despite the many attempts to derail him.

Trump is the only president who has unquestionably cared about the well-being of the American people since Eisenhower. This story will never make it to the MSM.

The media showed up for an arranged meeting with crying women in burkas, relatives of the men being deported, supposedly. They'll use it try to draw sympathy, but they know Americans aren't too sympathic towards rapists and murderers.

Sure it will.

My guess is that the part about the quid pro quo for coming off the travel ban won't though, because the media story is that the ban is the result of pure racism and nothing else.

Damnit. I don't like him and I think he's not a very good president, and I can't help but take his side on some of these things.

In general i cannot see any reason not to deport persons to their homelands.

- There are exceptions. If they are at danger because they worked for us, they relied on us and we should certainly help them.
- Refugees from Regimes that our enemies should be granted safe harbor

I love the progress being made against the MS-13 gang members that illegally immigrated into the US for many years.

I can't stand Trump, but I spend all my time defending the guy, it seems.

Only the left can accomplish that.

Sorry, "- Refugees from Regimes that our enemies should be granted safe harbor" should have read "- Refugees from Regimes that 'are' our enemies should be granted safe harbor"
