Top Democrat calls for the Investigation of Loretta Lynch's Clinton Probe

The top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee called Sunday for a congressional investigation into former Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email probe.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said she’s concerned by former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony Thursday that Lynch asked him to downplay his “investigation” into the Democratic presidential nominee as merely a “matter.”

Comey said the political request called into the question the credibility of Lynch’s Department of Justice and made him “queasy.” Lynch, a President Obama nominee, ultimately had to distance herself from the FBI probe after meeting with former President Bill Clinton on a tarmac in Phoenix.

As Democrats salivate over the idea of impeaching Trump over obstruction charges, their own comrades from the Obama administration are being exposed as law breakers and obstructionists. Even Feinstein, a 40 year power player in the DNC is now calling for a congressional investigation into the Lynch/Clinton meeting.

Are there any charges that can be brought against Bill Clinton?

No and there was no obstruction. Comey made that clear. No one asked him to end any investigation before Trump did. That said they are welcome to look into it provided there are similar hearings about Trumps possible obstruction which is much more problematic.

Does the I in FBI stand for "matters"?

Or does it stand for Investigations?

Lynchs coordinating with the clinton campaign to steer away attention from an ongoing investigation is the first ACTUAL testimonial evidence we have seen...of well....anything.

That being said..I would be surprised if it was vigorously pursued....

Feinsten wouldnt bother with it if it was going to hurt the party.

Not from what Comey claimed anyway. He was clear that he was not asked to stop any investigation or let anyone off the hook like Trump did for that "good guy" Flynn. What is so "good" about Flynn anyway?

So when Comey said Trump asked him to make the Flynn thing go away that was not actual testimony? The FBI is not supposed to comment on ANY investigation until it is over so Lynch did not overstep at all by asking him to not call it an investigation to the press.

For an FBI director, Comey feels quesy and uncomfortable a lot. I seriously question if Comey has any balls. Someone that cowardly and affraid, his firing was a necessary action.

Read it all again. It was a statement. Not a request. The fact that comey was distracted by his own internal monologue is on him.

There is a difference between " Just do it!" and "I hope this turns out all right."

One is a command and the other ....is not.

I dont want to attack comey. I feel sorry for him. He clearly has been in over his head for a long long time.
