popcorn would be much more delicious and satisfying than this mess is going to turn out to be. There won't be anything to come of it. Both sides will just keep bitching about the other, and Republocrats will continue to not hold themselves accountable to jack ****.
 
I can't watch because I'm on a marathon conference call, but I'm glad it's happening. Two weeks from now, this whole thing will be finally running on fumes, and we can move on.
 
I like how CNN's Cliff's Notes they just put up on the screen said nothing about Comey saying that no one told him to stop investigating Russia. Strange.

So Comey confirmed that Trump did not ask him to stop the Russia investigation, and that he did not view what he told him as obstruction of justice.

I guess that settles it, then.

I do not expect Comey to indict Trump. What I do expect is Comey to paint a picture of Trump that is absolutely terrible. This will be the prelude to the ultimate results of the investigation.

Absolutely terrible about what? Do you have to like a person to be President or do you expect results from that President? I prefer results and will judge him on results not his personality. Too many American idol people here who base their opinions NOT on results but rather personality. I don't like Trump but I love his agenda and he deserves a chance to implement it

Well, we still have an investigation going on. Something else might turn up (which I kinda doubt), but I don't think the case of obstruction of justice can really be made anymore (at least for now).

It should, but some very powerful politicians, and much of the media, have predicted that this spectacle today will provide the smoking gun to get rid of Trump, in one way or another. So given that, we're in for a hell of a lot of "Yeah but..." and "Isn't it reasonable to infer that..." and "What is your personal opinion..." and as Senator Warner just said - "This speaks volumes" (I don't know what he heard that was voluminous, but...) from those that really want this to cut Trump down at the knees.
