What you are asserting is that a heroin dealer might as well drive 100mph over the speed limit because he's already broken one law. That is how Stuxnet was able to infect Iranian centrifuges which were not connected to the internet. Someone's computer was infected then they were connected to the centrifuges

You are twisting off on something that I qualified with a "notwithstanding"... but, felons voting is not the type of voter fraud that most people talk about.....

You assume 1) there actually were 1,099 felons that voted illegally and 2) they broke better than 65-35 for Franken. However, when these was investigated, charges were only brought against 43 people for illegally voting. The actual known number of questionable votes was closer to 400. It is silliness.

They successfully steal an ID, which Kevin De Leon, which the most powerful politician in California claims "almost everyone" does, they register to vote using that name, since nobody checks the registration, and then they vote.

How do you think thousands of dead people vote every election cycle? A rotting corpse shows up at the polling place?

There is a numb mind involved here, and you might want to do something about it.

Actually to anyone paying attention, many of those people admitted that they voted for Coleman. The premise ignores that Minnesota is one of the bluest states there is.

First of all, committing the felony of voting illegally makes no sense - risk jail, and at least permanent deportation, for the purpose of casting ONE vote. Illegals aren't any dumber than you are, and why would you make that bad bet - jail with a roughly 0.0001% or so upside chance your one illegal vote gets your guy elected!

Second, you're insisting that lack of evidence is evidence or is at least irrelevant. Registering leaves a permanent record, and so does voting. Lots of people have a vested interest and lots of money to prove that illegals vote in numbers above the trivial, and despite the permanent records registering and voting leave, no one has ever produced this evidence.

How do you think thousands of dead people vote every election cycle? A rotting corpse shows up at the polling place?

BS. Prove it. There are lists of dead people and lists of voters, and lists of citizens and lists of voters. Anyone can compare them and you cannot produce evidence that the dead or illegals vote in numbers above the trivial.

Every discussion is the same with voting. Right wingers make claims that is contradicted by ALL the evidence, this is pointed out, and they don't care. Evidence isn't needed, and if the evidence goes the other way, it's ignored. It's why it's impossible to have rational discussions about voting because one side to the debate literally does not care at all what the evidence shows.

Illegals commit "felonies" by getting ID and working and living here illegally because they like food and lodging and their kids not dying. That's why they commit the crime of working and living here illegally.

The idea that they commit that crime or crimes (being here and working illegally, perhaps with stolen ID) because they don't care whether they go to jail or not, so why not commit a bunch of other felonies, like voting, which has no payoff at all, no upside at all, and the downside of getting deported, going to jail, leaving their kids without a mom or dad to work and provide for them is so stupid I can't believe anyone made that argument.

When they are fake people in terms of their identities, why would they suddenly draw the line at voting? Why? How would they be caught? If the felony they have committed in using stolen identities doesn't result in arrest, why wouldn't they also vote?

Consider the last vote. Immigration was a pretty big issue, don't you think? Why wouldn't they make use of the fake illegal identity they created to also vote?

You're appeals to emotion don't touch the fact that it would be entirely logical that they would.

No, the investigation found 32 possible dead people who voted over a period of 15 years or more, across several counties in southern California. LA county alone has 4.3 million registered voters. If they all "voted" in a single election, which is NOT what the investigation showed, they would represent 0.0008% (0.000008) of the total registered.

But, this proves a point I make all the time - nearly all 'voter fraud' is by absentee ballot. Dead people voting isn't a problem anywhere, but obviously every 'dead person' vote is by absentee ballot and voter ID laws don't touch this kind of fraud.

Right, for the most part they commit the crime of applying for a job, getting it, and working for an agreed upon paycheck. Sometimes they use fake ID TO GET A JOB! Terrible. Hardened criminals! Work FOR PAY!

And obviously they would vote because despite the downside of leaving a permanent record of their crime and risk being jailed, and deported, for no upside at all, they figure - why the hell not risk years in jail? Same reason it's rational for a drug dealer to run red lights right in front of cops!
