Trump lashes out at London Mayor Sadiq Khan, again

You are leaving it there because you were desperately trying to paint me as one of the people you were talking about but I could already see what you were doing and refused to oblige with your stereotyping.

I actually wasn't trying to paint you like that - I'd have said it, straight up, if I thought it. But whatever, as the kids used to say....:peace

Remember when we had a President of the United States who wouldn't attack an allied nation immediately after they're the victims of a terrorist incident?

You mean the Aum Shinrokyo incident? That was a blip, not a trend. A lone group which has been shut down, never to be seen again.

So what? It supports his claim.

sanman said:
Nope - he was referring to moderate Muslims- they were the Uncle Toms according to him.

That's not clear at all from what he said. He seemed to be talking about basically everyone, and then he said you can't just talk to people who agree with you. If anything, toward the end of the clip you posted, he seems to distinguish "ordinary British citizens of the Muslim faith" from "Uncle Toms."

Trump was pointing out Khan's lax attitude towards terrorism- Khan is more concerned about islamophobia than about Terror.

That is not in evidence. I have no idea why someone would think that. Nowhere has the mayor said "eh! We should just ignore terrorism," or words to that effect.

These people believe Trump's characterization of Khan's statement, that's how they got such an absurd idea.

Because, frankly, your graph is inflating the total by including incidents in an active war zone as "terrorism".

Because, frankly, terrorism still happens in a war zone and is, frankly, still terrorism.

It does, but that list counts shootouts between two enemy forces as terrorism in some cases.

If a member of ISIS attacks American soldiers, that's not terrorism. Military forces are legitimate targets of war.

ISIS is not a recognized nation or army, they are terrorists. I am not sure why that needs to be explained.

So there are 600 million Muslim terrorists and/or sympathizers out there? I'd like to see the evidence for that figure.

Poll after poll, skippy... But, I have stopped messing with you numbskulls over this issue. You can choose to believe what you wish.

Tim-

Tim-

I agree bro - no use messing with you numbskulls over this. So we agree!

I'm hopeful that, assuming they will ever become a majority in Europe (well, northern en western Europe) which I highly doubt, Islam will have gone through a reformation from within the Muslim community to secularize Islam just like Christianity. Every year, more and more Muslim women are entering universities. Education has the biggest influence with regards to that secularization. The one thing we have to be wary of, and in my view this is the biggest danger of the right wing, is segregation. If we create streets or communities of one color, if we live beside each other instead of with each other, then those Muslim women will never realize the freedom they can have, by looking at, and interacting with western women. They have to realize that here in Europe, you can marry whoever you want, women are equal to men, etc. So yeah, long story short, with enough education and living with each other, I think the problem will mainly solve itself before any doom scenario of a Muslim majority happens.

And what if it doesn't work out that way?
It seems those that these guys are second generation guys-- people who were born in the UK or Belgium, went to the school systems, yet rejected their countries. It doesn't seem that education solved the problem.

I really hate to link to a story about one of Trump's tweets but this is very relevant and extraordinarily stupid, even for him.

Only the most jaded buffoon would support Trump and his shameless straight up lying and twisting of what London's mayor said. It is absolutely disgusting he would do this while they are in the midst of a terror attack and their public is upset. Now he has done it TWICE and is now also whining about and blaming the media. Trump is not a leader, he does not promote success or security, he is a fat fingered moron that is destroying the credibility of our nation and I cannot wait until he is gone.

I'll feel better when Orange Is The New Black is starring Trump.

You raise a good point. But I think the problem here is that the education in public gets countered by a form of ideology indroctrination that happens in private and in some mosques. But this is a "men" problem if you ask me. While the number of muslims women in universities in europe is raising, the levels of muslim men in higher schooling is not. And unfortunatly, in the Islamic culture, the man (in a certain way) owns the woman. Yet, and I know I reiterate myself here, which I understand if you don't find this convincing, this will solve itself. The reason there is equality of the sexes in europe, is because of female education.

Maybe soon he'll be on the same "blatant liar" and "complete idiot" level as Hillary Clinton (who was a blatant liar and idiot) and many in the Democrat party
