Not sure if there's anything to this, but last week, we thought for almost an hour that it was just some balloons that popped at the Ariana Grande concert until we learned otherwise.
 
Oh no. Hopefully this wasn't another terrorist attack.
 
There have been reports of a loud boom, so it might've been some kind of explosive. Probably too early to tell what exactly happened. All we can do is wait for more confirmation.

Hopefully nobody was seriously injured.
 
Black Smoke means the Pope is toast...
 
My brother and his family were in Rome until a couple of days ago. He said it's gorgeous but the Romans have some serious waste disposal problems - said there's garbage all over the streets once you get away from the Vatican and the touristy areas. Trash fires would certainly be a concern.

Did he also mention how they don't bathe over there? Greece is the worst.
