Congress is investigating another possible meeting between Sessions & ussia's Kislyak

Re: Congress is investigating another possible meeting between Sessions & ussia's Kis

I've said it many times here. If he can't recall what he discussed with a Russian Ambassador/spy without memos or an aide present he isn't representing the interests of the US. He's just plain complicit and a liar.

This doesn't look good. The lies keep adding up.

Here's the story...

Sources: Congress investigating another possible Sessions-Kislyak meeting - CNNPolitics.com

Washington (CNN)Congressional investigators are examining whether Attorney General Jeff Sessions had an additional private meeting with Russia's ambassador during the presidential campaign, according to Republican and Democratic Hill sources and intelligence officials briefed on the investigation.

Investigators on the Hill are requesting additional information, including schedules from Sessions, a source with knowledge tells CNN. They are focusing on whether such a meeting took place April 27, 2016, at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC, where then-candidate Donald Trump was delivering his first major foreign policy address. Prior to the speech, then-Sen. Sessions and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak attended a small VIP reception with organizers, diplomats and others.

Oooo, "a source with knowledge tells CNN". When are you people gonna wake up and smell the feces?

A Trump supporter telling others to wake up and smell the ****?

The delicious irony hangs in the air like an egg fart.

WTH?

Every freaking appointee and Trump cohort seems to be dirty, and lying! And every time, it's involving Russia.

I've never seen or heard of anything like this. It's beyond ridiculous.

You don't investigate people - you investigate crimes.

If you feel a crime has occurred, please show me the evidence.

You need to have evidence a crime occurred, before you look for evidence on who committed that crime.

This is looking like a politically motivated kangaroo court.

I was discussing the matter of "anonymous sources" with another poster and while we both agree that it's annoying as heck, you can't dismiss what's being reported out-of-hand. Frankly, much of what's been leaked has shown to have merit behind the storylines:

* the undisclosed meetings between Trump campaign/Administration officials (Sessions and Kushner)
* the Russian official (Kislyak) being the central figure connected to atleast 3 prominent figures of Trump's inner circle - Flynn, Sessions and Kurshner
* encouragement by Pres. Trump attempting to convince former FBI Dir. Comey to drop or "go easy" on investigating Flynn
* the question of lifting economic sanctions against Russia with the knowledge that doing so would benefit Trump (Organization) financially
* a Russian bank server pinging Trump campaign servers exclusively
Etc, etc., etc.

There are just too many things to list that had it not been for these anonymous leaks the public might not have had a clue as to what was going on. We still don't know the truth with any real specifics, but there's at least enough questionable situations that have taken place that we now know about that should peak everyone's interest and give rise to concern.

As annoying as these leakers are, I can appreciate their willingness to get the word out. I'd just rather than whoever is doing the leaking would be brave enough to affix their name(s) to the story.
