This potential witness is one of the Russians himself!!

A Russian oligarch with close ties to Vladimir Putin, and in Putin's inner circle, wants to testify at the Russiagate hearings that are being held in Congress, but there is a hitch here. He wants full immunity from prosecution. Right now Congress is saying no, due to not wanting to compromise the criminal investigation that is being done by the FBI. But, when the time comes, he may end up providing the evidence that sends Manifort to prison.

Exactly. Either Putin wants the guy to plant some wild rumors that can't be substantiated or his body is already room temperature.

Reading is fundamental. Read the article and you will find out that Congress does not want to compromise the criminal investigation.

Claims Congress doesn't want to compromise criminal investigations...has no problem with James Comey receiving coaching from Mueller before testifying under oath.

Why should this "piss off" Putin? I would have tjought I saw glee in the corner of his eye.
