"The Florida man who claimed his girlfriend choked to death during oral sex was found not guilty of second-degree murder Monday.

Richard Patterson, 65, of Margate, was acquitted of killing 60-year-old girlfriend Francisca Marquinez in 2015 after a week-long trial, according to the Sun Sentinel.

During the trial, his lawyers initially argued that Marquinez died accidentally while performing oral sex on him at her apartment.

To bolster their defense, Patterson’s lawyers filed a motion to show his penis to the jury."

Seems a little misleading, he tried to use a big penis defense, but the medical examiner notes that the airway would need to be blocked for 2-3 minutes and the body would reflexively struggle, which would be likely to leave clear signs on the body.

It doesn't sound like he showed his penis to the jury, he was found not guilty as the cause of death could not be found due to decomposition.

How did someone who allegedly died choking while giving a blowjob decompose too much to determine cause of death? Did he go on vacation as soon as he finished without even bothering to notice her motionless body?

And why would the size of the penis be a valid defense? Can guys just go around choking people with their dicks, where then only the least endowed among them will actually go to prison?

This is really just raising more questions for me.
 
It will be awhile before men in Florida are able to convince their partners to do oral on them again. :lol:
