One explosion, outside the venue by the ticket office, according to the BBC. One eyewitness spoke of up to 30 casualties.

Fox is mispronouncing Ariana Grande's name. Cnn isn't covering it. Still on Trump. No love for the Brits.

Been following this for over an hour now and still unsure of what is actually going on there.

It's not the first or second time that such incident occurs on European soil and we're getting no information whatsoever regarding what is happening.

The Independent story indicates that the injuries are probably from trampling. I don't see any reporting of a bomb...so far.

1 witness saying they smelled burning but as of yet not confirmed. Trains shut down right now and it's being treated as a terror incident.

Usually CNN is pretty good with international breaking news.

I've been checking Twitter but there just doesn't seem to be much information. There was some security or dash cam video and you can hear an explosion but I didn't see any sign of a flash so the bang could have been from equipment falling or something similar. There just isn't any decent info out so far.
 
Ariana Grande concert: Deaths after reported blast

A blast at an Ariana Grande concert in the northern English city of Manchester has killed an unknown number of people and wounded others.Police said on Monday night they were responding to reports of an explosion and there were a number of confirmed fatalities.
There were no immediate details of what happened during the concert by the American singer.
A video posted on Twitter showed fans screaming and running out of the venue.
"We were making our way out and when we were right by the door there was a massive explosion and everybody was screaming," concert-goer Catherine Macfarlane told Reuters news agency.
"It was a huge explosion - you could feel it in your chest. It was chaotic. Everybody was running and screaming and just trying to get out."
Greater Manchester Police tweeted asking people to stay away.

Reports are that explosion occurred in the ticket foyer area. No visible smoke in any video yet.

They covered it for about 5 mins at around 4:15 and then went to 4 talking heads talking about the latest Trump news. Nothing can mollify CNN's Trump hate boner.

I just turned on All Things Considered on NPR. Baboom, no coverage, instead they're talking about how aggressively targeting terrorists doesn't work.

I read one account on twitter that it was a speaker that blew up.

But I also read from an NBC feed that 20 are dead and hundreds injured.

If that's true (I have no reason to doubt you), then they are wrongly abrogating their other responsibilities.

But I do strongly support them and the rest of the media in holding our government's toes to the fire.

Eye witness on sky said she saw smoke, blood everywhere and it wasn't part of the stampede.

Taxis are offering free rides home from the arena, people are opening their homes for the night, the nearby Holiday Inn has 60 or so unaccompanied kids/teens awaiting collection.
