Reports now of a gunmen at Oldham hospital. Not confirmed yet

If NBC says 20 dead, I suspect it is at least 20 dead.

And if 20 dead due to an explosion, then there's likely many more than that number injured.

I heard the clip on Fox from the guy with the dashcam. It was a very deep sounding explosion. Obviously, deep =/= good.

Horrible. This is the goal of terror. And especially hideous since the targets were young teens, probably mostly female.

No proof that it is a terror attack yet but if you wanted to maximize its effect you would wait until the show ended when you would have the most people in the corridors of the arena.

reports are the performance was nearing completion at the time of the two blasts

Terrible. Thoughts are with all affected.

No doubt further details will be released once fully known. For now, the priority should be and will be securing the site, attending to those injured and making sure the immediate vicinity is safe for emergency services personel to do what they do best.

Like anything though twitter tends to spread panic and false news in the aftermath of these attacks

I think we can rule out a speaker blowing up. Apparently what I am gathering the multiple explosions occurred at the exits as they did not go off till after the concert was over meaning there would be lots of folks at the exits at that time.

Always going to happen when people don't give a **** about the actual victims and the families left behind. Too busy clambering onto the corpses of the victims, it's disgusting.
