Michael Flynn 'to invoke 5th Amendment' over Russia probe
Neither the Senate nor the House Congressional committees investigating Trump/Russia collusion should either offer or grant Flynn immunity. Doing so would hamper the investigation/prosecution of Special Counsel Richard Mueller. Congressional immunity is why a court overturned Oliver North's three felony convictions related to the Iran-Contra political scandal. If Flynn doesn't cooperate with the DoJ/FBI, Mueller should prosecute Flynn to the fullest extent of the law and see to it that Flynn's generous military pension is forfeited for violating the rules of his retirement.Associated Press

Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn will invoke his Fifth Amendment protection against self-incrimination as he notifies a Senate panel that he won't hand over documents in the probe into Russia's meddling in the 2016 election, according to a person with direct knowledge of the matter. Legal experts have said Flynn was unlikely to turn over the personal documents without immunity because he would be waiving some of his constitutional protections by doing so. Flynn has previously sought immunity from "unfair prosecution" to cooperate with the committee.
