Trump's Budget - Cuts to Medicaid and Food Stamp Program[W:143]

Amazing isn't it, 211,000 jobs created in April, all of course due to Obama giving us Trump, and the unemployment rate, official and U-6 returning to pre recession numbers. Jobs created in Manufacturing and Construction and mining. Imagine that. when was the last time manufacturing had this big of job creation?

Your biased comments and negative spin are quite telling

Here are the graphs for unemployment.

Can you show us exactly where in that curve it shows Trump is making a dent?

I would suggest that maybe the blinders are reflecting the wrong way:

http://www.ctvnews.ca/business/u-s-tourism-jobs-at-risk-under-trump-slump-1.3307845

A tourism slump in the U.S. could mean the loss of thousands of jobs in an industry that employed 7.6 million people in 2015. The industry generated $1.6 trillion in economic output in 2015, according to SelectUSA, a federal program dedicated to tourism.
"Some jobs are going to be lost, that's for sure," Dimanche said. He says business travellers are starting to look outside the U.S. when planning conventions, while leisure travellers are seeking countries where they can feel more comfortable.

Or more recently:

Fast-forward to 2017 and once again the message to the rest of the world coming from the proposed travel ban was that the U.S. is wary about foreign tourists. It is exactly the wrong message for our country to be sending.

Pretty chart, can you point to the area of the chart that gets us back to pre recession unemployment levels? Per capita change in the debt? What purpose does that serve since we pay debt service on the total debt not on a per capita basis and today that debt is less than what Obama gave to Trump. Seems the left loves posting charts but pay no attention to the fact that we went to almost record levels before starting the decline yet still were above pre recession levels until Trump took office

Do you have that from someone other than Fox? ABC/NBC/CBS/MSNBC/NPR/CNN/NYT/WaPo/WSJ/BBC/CBC etc.

Hard to find anything positive anywhere else. Are you saying the article is false and if not why hasn't it made headlines elsewhere?

Love it, could mean? Since when is could mean actual losses in jobs? Did you pay any attention at all to the numbers inside the unemployment numbers for April? What jobs were created? Why are projections always posted as facts by the left? A true independent would look at these type articles with skepticism

Results matter not rhetoric. You buy what the media tells you and ignores the results being generated. I believe the official results, why does the left ignore them? 4 months in office, jobs being created and debt is lower than it was when he took office. Giving Obama credit for these numbers are just wishful thinking by supporters as no one can explain the policies Obama generated to get those numbers because he left the country with a 1.6% GDP and that won't create those jobs

Slow population growth, baby boomer retirement, net neutral or even negative immigration, and a stagnation of productivity gains are most of the reasons why we have 1.6% GDP and will continue to do.

$20 trillion "invested" in government debt may have some impact as well. ;)

Absolutely stunning how low your expectations were with Obama

The attack on the lower and middle class is underway. Trump and his buddy, Carl Icahn, who serves as a specialist financial advisor, to the White House don't have to worry about Medicaid. They don't have to worry about being in an income situation, where they may need Food Stamps. And the wealthy Oligarchs, like Icahn, are laughing all the way to the bank.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/medicaid...dget-washington-post-225350750--business.html

U.S. President Donald Trump's budget proposal, set to be unveiled on Tuesday, will include cuts to Medicaid and propose changes to other assistance programs for low-income citizens, the Washington Post reported on Sunday.
...
The Post report said the White House would also give individual U.S. states more autonomy over a variety of anti-poverty poverty programs including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, the largest U.S. anti-hunger program, which was formerly called the food stamp program.

**** with Medicare and Medicaid at your own peril. Seniors vote.
