Trump bounces along to Saudi sword dance - CNNPolitics.com

President Donald Trump and other male White House officials bounced along to a ceremonial sword dance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Saturday outside the Murabba Palace.

Video of the dance from Host TV shows Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross dancing with swords perched on their shoulders as part of a line of men in traditional Saudi garb.


Trump, surrounded by Saudi officials, bops back and forth with a smile on his face, while White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, chief of staff Reince Priebus and chief economic adviser Gary Cohn appear more reserved in their moves.

I'd just like to say that in 2008, there were images of Obama, that showed him engaging with what I remember was a part of Kenyan culture. They clothing he wore was worn by Islamic, but did not represent Obama's own beliefs. He did what tourists do.

Here too, I am willing to allow the possibility that Trump is engaging Saudi culture because he is now holds the highest office in the land. That said, I want all of the people who thought Obama engaging Islam was a problem, to come out and now say the same thing about Trump.

Of course, you don't have to.....I know you'll just defend this, and then somebody will bring up how offended you were by this:

On a side note, let me be the one to point out that if trump converted to Islam his supporters would instantly go onto Amazon to look for prayer rugs.

It's just points to the bizarre and backwards cultures that prevail throughout that part of the world, and the primary reason they can't get out of the 1st century.

Democrats and other liberals have become far more crude than Trump has ever been. Your's and Hatuey's posts are prime examples. Both of you would fit right in at the recent California Dem convention.

Well, I don't think Trump is really as hateful as some people are making him out to be. After all, while in Saudi Arabia, he did participate in a ritual, to open the Saudi Center for Combating Extremism, where he was allowed to put his hands on the Saudi glowing orb of Islamic dominance. I am very sure that has to rankle the Trumpanzees who know about this. In fact, one bible thumper has already posted a Youtube video which equates Trump to Satan for doing this. I am posting the video here.

But I am sure that Trump accepting the fact that Islam is a bona-fide religion has got to piss them off even more. LOL.



Anyways, kudos to Trump for opening his mind instead of being an asshole. He's learning, which is something I didn't expect when he first took office. I thought he would be completely incapable of that. I now stand corrected.
