this is playing out like something in a movie.

ol I am sure they want to get their hands on him but he is holding a trump card.
they don't know what he has or what he can release that would bite them in the rear end.

any attempt to take a swipe at him would trigger the dead man switch.
that would in theory be worse.

We don't know that Assange raped anybody - his guilt was never proven. The accuser did admit she went home with him to have sex.

His guilt was never proven because he hid in an embassy until the statue of limitations ran out. That's not the actions of an innocent man.

First, it was multiple women and they weren't hookers. Second, what he did is referred to as "stealthing" - which means that a woman agrees to have sex with you on the condition that you wear a condom but you take it off or don't wear one anyway. That is also called rape under Swedish law - a charge Assange could have avoided if he had done what the women asked which was to get tested to ensure he didn't expose them to a STI.

Doesn't he have one of those snowden deals that he needs to put in a password every x amount of time so it stops a 100% data dump?
