The FCC votes to overturn net neutrality

My favorite alt-right "celebrity" spent weeks celebrating net neutrality when people actually shared values and goals.

Now he posts on youtube every day about how you need to buy gold and bitcoins (to then send to him for his invaluable information) or that Hillary Clinton and Podesta murder and eat babies. Nope. Nothing wrong with this country. Trump has taken a divided American and made it exponentially worse.

The kind of people applauding this don't actually understand the issue of Net Neutrality in most cases.

Voting against their own interests because, uh... BUT HER EMAILS!!!
Nah, they are just simply morons.

The same thing that the FDA, OSHA, CDC and many others are doing for you too.

OSHA is kind of a pain in the ass. The FDA is the reason drug prices are through the roof. I'll pass on all that help from the government.

That I was for a while. I fell hard because of my drug addiction, which I overcame. Nobody put a gun to my head and made me do drugs. That's all on me. Overcoming the addiction is also all on me. Been drug free for more than 30 years now. I've got nothing to be ashamed of. So you will just have to try and push someone else's buttons. LOL.

I'm just wondering qualifies you to have all the answers and claim everyone else stupid, if they dare disagree with you. An internet company probably has it's own in house refrigeration team?

Let me guess, we need you people to do our thinking for us?
Well you have amply demonstrated that you do need someone to think for you. It might as well be someone who can understand reality and the issues we face.

Private funding for roads would just lead to speculative behavior. Public goods ought to be publicly funded. It could be done efficiently through competitive bidding.

Nope. The government will take a job that takes perhaps a week and turn it into a project that takes five years.

Ya see, that's the Left's biggest problem. You think you're superior, except everything the Liberals touch turns into ****. If you want things ****ed up, just tell the Liberals to fix it.

And ten times the cost, producing 50% of the quality.

No, that you, day in day out, post really uneducated, outright stupid drivel is no one else's fault but your own.

You think you're superior
Wrong again, I do not think it I know it.

except everything the Liberals touch turns into ****.
That is only your still uneducated opinion, although I must admit that it IS partially true.

If you want things ficked up, just tell the Liberals to fix it.
Or as things stand know let people like you choose the president.

You just proved my point. Thanks! :)

BTW, keep wondering why no one takes the Left serious.

You and your ilk would not know what is good for this nation if it fell on you.

This once great nation was founded upon conservative principles. We are the only ones who know what is good for this country.

So let me see.

1) I post that setting up an internet hot spot is easy.

2) In response to that post, you accuse me of taking a cheap shot. I'm still wondering how you hallucinated that.

3) I respond by giving you my qualifications, which happen to be quite extensive. I can't help but throw a little Sonic Vanilla Shake humor into that too. Now THAT was a cheap shot, but you deserved it, and it was fun too.

4) You then asked if I was an air conditioning "helper", which was an attempt to infer that I don't have the knowledge that I do have.

5) I answered honestly, telling you that I was a helper years ago, and explained my drug addiction, which was the reason that I fell from having a great job at Texas Instruments to becoming a gofur for air conditioning technicians. I also posted that I overcame that addiction, and have been drug free for for than 30 years (32 to be exact), that I have nothing to be ashamed of, and that you will have to push someone else's buttons.

6) Your response to that, as noted in the post that I am quoting, is to infer that I do not have the knowledge that I have because I work for a refrigeration company.

Well, buster, I do have all that knowledge. When I was at the lowest point in my whole life, in jail for DWI in 1985, although the charge should have been under the influence of drugs, I vowed to change my life. I did just that. Since I could not get a good job at that time, due to the DWI that was on my record, I walked into an air conditioning company and, without any knowledge of air conditioning, BS'd my way into a job as a helper. From there I became an installer, and later on an HVAC technician. I was promoted to management, and when the owner of that company retired, I was hired as operations manager of the company I now work for. And I have done a great job too. 2 weeks ago we received our 6th Winner of Distinction Award at the BBB Awards for Excellence banquet here in Houston. Before I joined the company, there were zero trophies on the wall. After the 6 years that I have been employed there, we have 6. And, during that whole time, I kept up to date on technology. Put my computer programming experience to work to create Windows programs for the company I work for which are used every day by the people who work there. Also learned how to write software for Andriod phones and tablets. And, on top of that all, have played music full time, doing studio work on Clutch City for the Houston Rockets, and earning a credit on an album for Roy Head.

So, just keep trying to push my buttons, and keep trying to convince people here that, because I work for a refrigeration company, I am not qualified to post about hot spots. I laugh in your face. And, to make this post worth it, let me add something else......

Kiss My Ass.

You pay the government to pay and hire the guy that builds the roads. You know, it would be way more efficient if you just paid the guy to build the roads yourself.

... Quick question... how much do you think it costs to build a road?

A better question is why it costs what it does.

I hope you understand that road building has always been wildly expensive and a legitimate role of any government.

Please...?

What do you think the country is divided over? Once you answer that question maybe you should spend some time on figuring out how that happened.

Mad props to anyone who can turn their life around like this and stay on that narrow path. Well done. :)

If you're referring to the federal government, that's in Art. I, Sec. 8.

Thank you, it wasn't easy, but damn, I'm good.

How is pay for the building of roads a legitimate role of government?

Welcome to Hatuey's Fun Historical Facts (Now given by somebody with a degree)

Roads are built to ensure that troops can mobilize quickly to any location when needed to defend a nation.

That's why the government has a vested interest and legitimate role in creating roads.

I'm charging you for the next social studies lesson.
