Satellite internet is slow and expensive. Also, VOIP will not work over satellite internet.

Yes, I'm being selfish in that I don't want to hold hands with 98% of my fellow Americans and jump off a cliff with them. I'm also altruistic in that I don't want them to jump off the cliff either. However half of these people think jumping off the cliff is a good thing and if they can drag liberals with them to their death it means they've won.

The internet has already drastically regressed in America without net neutrality. Half of the companies impose unrealistic data caps to kill streaming so that people go back to paying for cable. Our internet connection speeds are garbage around the country compared to the rest of the world. And our ISP's take our information and sell it to companies. This will only get worse with the FCC takeover by the snake Ajit Pai. The department responsible for overseeing illegal corporate activities is now ruled by the corporations.
