I imagine the Russians have long since given up on getting anything useful out of Trump and have now reverted to just embarrassing the U.S. on the world stage with the help of our feckless leader.

Why did he keep staff that he was warned had questionable ties to Russia?
Why did Trump's campaign folks turn up in the ongoing investigations into Russia meddling in our Election?

Hillary was the easier target last year, so they went after her first. Now they are going after Trump. Neither Clinton nor Trump were the primary target. That target is Democracy itself, not only in the US, but around the world. Putin is an authoritarian who wants to kill Democracy. He is attacking it here in the US, but he has also attacked it elsewhere, most notably in France, where the Russians attempted to intervene in that election. It was not successful there, but France does not replace civic duty with watching episodes of "Dancing with the Stars". Alas, the same cannot be said of America.

The only thing you know is what you see in the media, what you read in the media, and what you hear in the media. You draw your impressions from that, and given what is going on, their agenda is getting rid of Trump.

The media has been doing the same stuff for a long time, somehow GWB got through it and he was an average IQ frat boy rich kid with little to offer other than his Dynastic last name (and first!).

Trump waged war against the main stream media from the beginning, and ran on "fake news, fake news!, they are a threat to the nation!", in typical fascist/authoritarian form.
Trump also has done so many crazy things to gain media attention since in office, it's really breathtaking.

On top of keeping Flynn on then firing him only after public. On firing Comey, on bad mouthing Comey, on lying about why Comey was fired.
