SAN ANTONIO - State Sen. Carlos Uresti (TX-19) has been indicted by a federal grand jury.The senator is facing multiple charges including wire fraud, securities fraud, engaging in monetary transactions with property derived from specified unlawful activity; and, one count of being an unregistered securities broker.


Uresti was first elected in 1997 as a Texas Representative and elected to the Senate in 2006.
The Democrat and San Antonio native attended law school at St. Mary's and opened his own legal office in downtown in the early 1990s.

FBI. IRS. These are part of federal law enforcement. If Trump didn't want this to happen it wouldn't have happened. So far Trump has had more raids on politicians in less than days than Obama in 8 years.

You just made up this whole post out of nothing. Show me some numbers, how many politicians were 'raided' (what the hell does that even mean?) during Obama and during Trump.

I don't know what that link is. I know what it isn't- it isn't any kind of comparison that shows Trump responsible for 'more raids' (again, what does that mean?) against politicians than Obama.

Please try to control your outrage. Trump is unleashing the power of our investigation agencies on our corrupt politicians. I'm not going to stick around trying to educate you on the word "raid". The FBI have gone after both Dems and Republicans under Trump. Unlike Obama's filthy and politicized administration. Once the Obama holdovers are fully cleared out, the stench of their failure and corruption will be gone and this will be a new era of accountability and respectability for the FBI.

Just as in all other cases, innocent until proven otherwise. But even the stink of possible corruption/shady business should be avoided by a chosen representative of the voters. So he should step down and if found innocent he can try to get his seat back.

Sadly all politicians, regardless of party, can be lured to the "dark side" of crime.

He is a state senator in Texas and it has nothing to do with Trump, politicians can be dirty quite independently of the Orange crook (who committed his shady business deals before he was sworn in as president). Nobody is of the opinion that everything in the country that is negative is the fault of Trump but also no sane person would think all the good things happening in the US are the achievements of Trump (of course your name is Donald J. Trump and then you are not truly sane to begin with ;) )

Actually, the criminal justice system in Texas, along with the FBI, is draining that swamp. Trump has doubled the size of his.
