Sally Yates: Russians had 'real leverage' over Michael Flynn

Why would I trust you? I don't even know you.

When someone starts by saying "trust me" I immediately become way too suspicious of them to trust them. Like trump... He says that all the time.

That's what he is. A used car salesman. An infantile used car salesman.

"Trust me..."
"Believe me..."
"I can tell you..."

All lines that usually precede a lie and or some complete bull****.

One of the lessons my dad taught me: never trust someone that says "trust me" or "believe me". They know they have credibility problems because they know they are liars.

I thought everybody got that lesson. I can't believe how many people still fall for these con artists who speak like that.

Flynn will never work for the government again.

He may be charged and tried for crimes.

Time will tell.

He is more likely to go on government assistance: three hots and a cot while sharing a place with Rod Blagojevich.

Just my opinion, but once Trump pushes through a HUGE tax break for the rich, which are the GOP's donors and the only demographic the GOP really cares about, Trump will be gone. The Republicans in Congress will no longer have any use for him so they will abandon him and use him for a scapegoat for giving the tax breaks for the rich.

Then just in time for the 2018 elections the GOP will blame the tax breaks for the rich on Trump, which will placate the clueless Republican base, And the GOP will also point out how by getting rid of Trump they put country before party, also BS. But lies and using Trump as a scapegoat will work. I have NO faith the Republican base will ever wake up to how badly the GOP is screwing them.

They don't need Trump for that. In fact, he is a hindrance to that end. How much Trump personally gains by the tax bill will be the poster of inequity that will work slow down such legislation. That is a assuming he can get past the credibility issues he has already created (and continues to manufacturer). He may have already entered the lame duck period of his presidency.

If the Republicans want a tax bill, it will be President Pence that gets it done.

I do again that the Republicans will dump Trump to show they put the country before party in order to save face in 2018. Trump is already, and will continue to be, toxic to the Republican brand. Right now, however, Trump's approval ratings within the party are a tad bit too high to have that happen.

My point is if Pence did it, then he will be blamed for doing it.

Remember Trump was going to lessen the debt, the deficit, he was seen as the anti-establishment, the anti-Wall Street guy, he was going to drain the swamp. If the GOP cuts taxes on the rich, all of the above goes in the toilet. Debt will rise, the Middle Class will see the rich getting tax breaks while their taxes will rise(local and state), and their services will be cut. They will want to blame someone.

If the GOP can get Trump to push through a huge tax break for his buddies, he will be blamed. Then they have no more use for him. 30% or so of the GOP base won't care, they'll stick by Trump no matter what. But the Moderates and Indy's are who the GOP doesn't want to piss off. The GOP would rather Trump gets blamed instead of Pence.

The people above her.. as in Trump and Steve Bannon.. lol. she's 1,000 times more qualified and honorable than those two jagoffs.

Regardless what you think of them, she ended her involvement when she made her report. She should fade into the sunset where she belongs.

But, of course, as long as she's useful to the Mainstream Media and their anti-Trump narrative...she won't.

That's great, and those decisions now have consequences.

All decisions have consequences.

Well, whale, wail, wheel. The longer I stay at DP, the more I realize that there is the world in DP and there is the real world. In the real world, Michael Flynn is never likely to work in intelligence gathering again. He is Oliver North for millennials. It would look piss poor for anybody to rehire the guy fired for lying to the VP. Yet, in DP world, we were assured that nothing was going on with Flynn for months.

The same thing happened with Manaforte. We were assured that he'd done nothing wrong by DP members, but in the real world, Manaforte is never likely to work for an administration or be connected to one again. The political fallout would be too much for anybody involved. I think that here too, Conservatives and Republicans will tell us there is nothing to fear, but in the real world - people will have to answer to the millions who are demonstrating and demanding answers.

Republicans pushed Hillary's e-mail issue for so long, they have nobody to blame but themselves if they have to clean up Trump's mess for the next 4 years.

What exactly was it that Yates said the Russians had on Flynn ??

Not worried in the least about the Independents.

People on the far left should be paying attention to what the general public says about the media, and for that matter, Congress.

The unprecedented flow of propaganda coming from the left and their MSM partners is not going down well with everyday Americans.

While these dog whistles are certainly scoring well with the target audience desperate to bandage their wounded psyche's, the rest of the nation appears to think little of the effort.

I get a giggle when the fringe minorities tell us what the nation is thinking and feeling. Telling us what America wants. Telling us how America thinks. Speaking as if they are mainstream in their opinions.

They really should get out more.

Just sayin'......

Absolutely get out more. Shut down the internet feeds, turn off their MSM obsessions and get out in the real world.

Rather than reflect on the giant middle finger voters across the country gave to the Establishment and their Media partners, they have decided to turn up the volume.

When everyday Americans keep seeing videos of riots and chaos orchestrated by the radicals taking control of the left, the message isn't good.

Go smell some flowers and resist the urge to be taken in by the political machine desperate for ratings and advertising revenue.

You count the death count of minions so far buddy:

- Michael Flynn
- Paul Manaforte
- Bill O'Reilley
- Monica Crowley
- James Woosley
- James Comey

In the real world, these people are out of jobs.

You forgot Sally Yates.

Heard a great line tonight and it is apropos. "Watch out for who you hire and watch out for who you fire."

I prefer real facts to alternative facts...

LOL

Sound bites and quaint little trigger phrases aren't generally known as replacements for real facts, but I can see with your reference, you depend on them.
