Inside Trump's anger and impatience--and his sudden decision to fire Comey

Re: Recent example of fake news.

So what you're saying is, politicians lie as expected, like you must believe Trump and Associates lie, [/b]but you think the incredibly fewer times journalist' make a mistake, though not proven, you think that worse in your judgement[/b]. If you don't expect politicians to be honest, how do you know that their denial of something the press says is true, as you so obviously accept? You still didn't answer my question. I'm not forcing you to do the math. Or, does your answer that the regularity of politician lies being less than the unproven mistakes of the press, by your own stated standard, say the answer is, without doubt, Trump & Assoc. F'd up way more than the press. You have an answer in your head. Be honest.

Yes....

Re: Recent example of fake news.

The POTUS is NOT responsible for accurate reporting to the people in the same fashion as the press are supposed to be

So the president should be free to make all the false statements he wants? I don't think so.

Re: Recent example of fake news.

The president misspeaks because he is extemporaneous and off-the-cuff.

When you refuse to retract a statement or even double-down, that is not misspeaking, that is intentional.

Re: Recent example of fake news.

Did Obama apologize to all those people who lost their doctors and insurance plans?

Presidents make promises all the time they cannot keep. Bush Sr. promised no new taxes. LBJ campaigned as a "peace" candidate. Woodrow Wilson promised to keep the US out of WWI. Trump is on another level, completely.

Obama KNEW you couldn't keep your plan, nor your doctor.

I didn't know you were so close to Obama. When did he tell you he knew the whole time?

He said it 37 times, publically. Was he lying, or just ****ing stupid? There are no other options.

It's only lying if you know it isn't true. Where's your proof he knew it wasn't true? I'm not saying he didn't know, I just expect evidence for such a claim.

Re: Recent example of fake news.

The media makes mistakes. When they make mistakes they are expected to submit a retraction/apology and a correction.

When this president makes mistakes he doesn't issue a retraction or apology. He doubles down.

I am no fan of the corporate media, but can we not be hypocritical about this, people?

I would agree with you if I thought it was a mistake. But I think it is purposeful fake news.

Oh yeah! Thanks for that. :lamo
