'The U.S. economy will fall short of the Trump administration's goal of 3 percent growth this year and will only achieve that when its regulatory, tax, trade and energy policies are fully in place, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said on Tuesday.

The GDP target "is certainly not achievable this year," Ross told Reuters in an interview. "The Congress has been slow-walking everything. We don't even have half the people in place."'

I got news for you Mr. Ross...even if ALL of Trump's policies make it through Congress, the economy still will not grow at 3%.

No chance...not over an entire year.

The fundamentals of the economy are too screwed up for 3% yearly growth to happen.

Your boy had the right idea by overhauling the Fed (which is the principle reason, imo, for the malaise that is the U.S. economy and has been for a decade or so) - but that flip flopping idiot even backed off on that.

So there is NO WAY the economy will grow at a yearly rate of 3% - no matter what Congress does - so long as the buffoon in the WH runs huge deficits AND continues to let the Fed screw everything up (except for the rich - they LOVE what the Fed is doing).

Without policy to put more money in the middle class' hands, the economy will stay, growing 1-2% yearly, with all gains going to the top.

Obama made it his goal to destroy the foundation of the American economy. That's gonna be hard to fix.

This does not surprise me as this is Obama's last year.
