French election: Macron 'defeats Le Pen to become president'

Big banks get involved with whoever wins the presidency. It's not exclusively a left-wing or right-wing thing. It's exclusively a banker thing. When are these fools going to learn? Wall Street wants to influence whoever wins.

They never will. That's a big part of what makes them fools.

Actually, the Left focus on the Jew apartheid part, if you look at all the protest campaigns, NGOs, and UN votes

While it would be fascinating to start talking about Israel, that's something for another thread.

A 30+ point rejection of white nationalism, xenophobia, hatred and fear. Well done France.

Not really. They underestimated Macron at about 7 points--a worse swing than Brexit or Trump.

Final polls were Macron at 63. He was rising. At 59 last week though.

Fascism may spread on some days, but TODAY IS NOT THAT DAY! :applaud

Hmm...

We had to endure alt-righters / anti-Global Elitists telling us Wilders would win in the Netherlands and the EU would fall, then they shifted to le Pen whose father and party are reknowned holocaust deniers / anti-semites and they told us France would elect le Pen and the EU would fall.

Well, I'm putting my money on the same silly argument when it comes to the German election. These people won't learn and some of us will have to listen to the same tripe again and again.

Ze Germans were afraid the Jews and immigrants would destroy them. As history turned out, ze Germans destroyed their own Third Reich with their fascist beliefs. Hitler predicted it would last 1,000 years, and that he would go down in history as the greatest leader ever.

While I find the caparison to Hitler beyond boring, I'll give you a little clue as to why this particular comparison is a joke. It wasn't the ideology of Hitler that was ze German's undoing, it was shotty strategy and tactics that failed them.

German's also where the aggressors not the object of another's aggression. bringing the fight to the world rather than having the 3rd world descend down upon them.

I could go on but these two distinctions are more than enough to destroy your post.

What about Macron's policies lead you to believe he will destroy France?

He's a globalist, investment banking, socialist -- what could possibly be wrong with the man?:lamo

If confirmed, he will also become the first president from outside the two traditional main parties since the modern republic's foundation in 1958.

It's great that he won...but as an independent he doesn't have a major party behind him....so it might not be that easy for him to govern.

Better than someone who denies the holocaust.

Oh, of course, someone who's wrong about the past is so much worse than someone who's got it wrong about the here and now and the future...

Actually buddy, Hitler's ideology alienated potential allies and prevented him from making peace in the West after the fall of France. His "hold or die" orders in the East, designed based on his desperation for lebensraum, doomed millions of German soldiers. His hatred meant that even when the war was going to hell, the death camps kept running. Had he continued air strikes on airfields instead of switching to bombing cities, he could have ground the RAF into dust, but his personal vindictiveness would not let him do that.

In short, your claim that Hitler's ideology didn't lead Germany to defeat is laughable.

We never got to see the long-term of effects of Nazi policy on the German economy and in all likelihood his policies would have ruined Germany without the war. The economy was essentially propped up almost exclusively by government spending, which is great if you are trying to militarize but not for a sustainable economy in the long run. His policies killed millions and took resources away form the people, I would call that the German's undoing.

Laughable for those ignorant of history, and/or simple reading comprehension.

Not saying that his ideology and the policies that stemmed forth wouldn't be a failure, but they weren't what caused them to fail.

Congratulations, you stopped fascism by electing a Rothschild investment banker. If it weren't for double standards there would be none at all.

Hey don't complain, Roth created Israel and al the problems since

The alt-Right today

And when the next terrorist attack hits France, we'll be saying "You elected him, you live with the consequences".

BTW: There's a website called Tinypic.com where, when you upload them, you can change the size of images before you post them somewhere. I suggest you use it.

It seems you fall into both those categories then, because it's clear to anyone who has even glanced at a history of the Second World War that Hitler's ideology lead Germany to disaster.
