Donald Trump Reads Poem About Snake Biting its Host

At least you didn't deny that the rant was nothing but a blatant anti-immigration innuendo to appeal to his ham-fisted base. We are a nation of immigrants, rolling up the mat is not an option. The odd thing is that Trump knows this better than most. Half of his employees at Maralago are immigrants fresh off the boat. He sure does not practice what he preaches. He makes all his "items" overseas and hires as many immigrants as possible for all his jobs. It's just good business to keep your employee expenses down I guess.

There was no "innuendo" there, man - he was quite clear about it when he explicitly dedicated the poem to the US Border Patrol.

Trumps reading of THE SNAKE refers to the middle and lower income people who voted against their own economic self interest by being deceived by THE SNAKE in person of Trump and the right wing pushing him. They took in the snake and were deceived by him only to be bitten by him in the end.

How ironic Trump, clueless to his own Snake-likeness, would quote that little ditty... and not see himself as the Slimy and Poisonous Snake dubiously elected by voters unable to see the obvious!

I have respect for Snakes, but not much fear. I consider myself pretty good at catching them.

well I doubt it has anything to do with being anti-immigration. more with anti illegal immigration. which everyone who believes in the rule of law should be against illegal immigration.

It is no coincidence that the Bible uses the snake as a stand in for Satan.

Just so I understand you correctly, are you claiming that immigrants commit a disproportionately high number of crimes? If so, can you back that claim up?

A 2,000 man army of rapists doesn't shock you....would a 10,000 man army of rapists?

Why are you evading the question? Can you or can you not back up the claim (if that is in fact what you believe) that immigrants commit a disproportionately high number of crimes?

Do you think Trump's talking about Irish legal immigrants? Or Jamaican legal immigrants?

I've given you the question I'm interested in. If you don't want to answer it, then fine. We don't need to go around in circles forever.

But it's a typical illogical liberal question. You know he's not talking about all immigrants, he's talking about illegals and migrants with serious cultural problems. Would you say a 2,000 ( I earlier thought it was 1,000) man army of sexual predators roaming the streets of a single city on a single night presents a serious cultural problem?

Would you say that's representative of a larger trend of immigrants committing crimes? If so, what studies have you looked at to support such a position?

It's obvious that there's a cultural problem in the countries that the migrants came from. Why are you so obsessed with saying "immigrants" all the time instead of discussing the obvious ones that either come illegally or come from cultures that aren't adapting well in democracies? No one thinks there's a problem with all immigrants.

Well thank goodness you don't think all immigrants are a problem. What percentage of immigrants would you say is a problem?

Don't be a pedant - by that standard, you'll be claiming that nothing less than a whole planet is a physical system. Sorry, but nations matter.

Some Libtards naively think that if they do away with the system of nations, then it'll result in some utopian Star Trek United Earth Federation, or something. In reality what will result are various trans-nationalist empires spanning across the carcasses of various former nations.

"Libtards." Aren't you witty.

Nations are physical entities too - they have finite territorial space, finite resources, finite GDP, they have finite revenue inputs and finite expenditure outputs, finite population with finite birth and death rates - they are not abstract concepts like philosophy.

"dog-whistling" -- heh, ever since that phrase was used in the London elections, it's being parroted around by the Left -- MonkeySee, MonkeyDo.

Please spare me your fake concern for alleged US border-territory loss to Mexico, when your real desire is to give it all away to Mexico.

When arguing a position, it helps to not blatantly lie about your opponents' views. Just some friendly advice.
