I keep hearing about economic growth under Trump. The most recent report showed jobs up slightly, but the growth is slower. Last I looked, tourism was down 3%, and expected to drop another 4%. Foreign student enrollment at US Universities is anticipated to fall off. I think we're going to start seeing the numbers, and realize that we're being led down a hole.

How would these measures impoverish society ? Just because people don't drive to work does not mean they don't own a car, just that they drive it less.

Companies that produce plastic ustensiles would have to start producing reusable ones.

Better isolating buildings would give jobs to insulators.

Reducing the distance between buyer & seller encourages local farming & commerces, keeping money inside the american economy & out of the hands of huge Chinese shipping companies.

Basically the only losers are the oil companies who may be obligated to start investing in different sources of energy such has wind / solar. These renewable sources of energy have a lot of potential & are getting really interesting financially & economically. Creating jobs whilst simutaneously cutting the electricity bill.

When one doesn't care about their own borders, why would they care about someone elses?

Allegedly, Mexico has an oil company too, though I can't find any independent evidence of such.

I have not idea how their labor laws work. But, for real, I have a friend in PV that said anytime I want to come down he would set me up.

Classical Liberalism isn't Left Wing at all. Modern Leftists have hi-jacked the term, because they know that "socialism" and "communism" will never sell.

But, feel free to point out all the Right wing positions you agree with. I doubt there are more than one, or two; at best.
