Oh I know that. You hit the nail on the head and that's why Fox News is finally getting the torpedoes they deserve; now they're after Sean Hannity, and they'll get him too. All their stuff is propaganda. I'd like to see them be the television version of the Wall Street Journal: conservative, thoughtful, point oriented, and most of all reasonable.

For the record, my idea of a modern conservative is Gen Colin Powell.

Yeah. Too bad he got played on the Iraq war. He should have seen through it, though.

Oh yeah, you absolutely right. I felt so bad for Powell that I really hoped he go on 60 minutes 'er somthin and tell all and really put the screws to GW and his wild bunch. That whole episode told me why I liked even more than I had before. The guy is a class act and the Republican party could learn a lot from him.

What I'm hoping for out of this, though I know it's a long shot, is that if Fox News is really intent on staying around and changing the public perception of them, is that they become a serious and well thought out conservative news outlet. That is to say that I hope they seep up all the patriotic American, love it or leave it bombastic stupidness, that IS Sean Hannity et al as was Bill O'rielly and that they turn into a a credible well researched opinionated is okay news service that concentrates itself on finding the truth in the middle and drawing audiences based on credibility rather than **** fighting.

That I can agree with. Too many at FOX News have put priority on their cocks instead of news. :mrgreen:
