Justice Dept. Warns Local Officials to Follow Immigration Law

You did not present any facts unless you don't know what a fact is.

When an officer runs across somebody that does not have ID they ask for their name and birthdate.

They run that information in the system to see if it is valid. If it is not that person is brought in to the station to identify them. If false information was given they are charged with that crime.

If there is no record of that person, they will do more investigation to find out who that person is.

I hope you don't think a person can just say they don't have ID when they are asked for it and the officer says Ok, have a nice day.

As I already said, an officer would have to have other reason to stop someone then just to check ID. You know, probable cause. So, you tell me. What reason are you thinking of that an officer would have to stop someone and check their ID?

Your not comprehending. I am saying your are not giving facts to support the substance of what you claims to do with immigration. Your more concerned with being told of your level of stupidity for failing to do so and not addressing the substance of the debate. You don't give facts that support all of what you claim.

I comprende all your lingo and its just typical liberal personal attacks

If the officer has already made contact he had the reason you are talking about.

Nobody is suggesting the police randomly ask people for ID.

It sure took you a long time to make that point clear. In response to what you say, local police say it's none of their business and they don't have the time or resource to do so. You might as well have them check to see if the person's taxes have been paid then, if not, hold them for the IRS instead of ICE.

Interestingly enough, they are using a technique I generally deplore, "Do as we say or else we hold back funding" Generally you see it in things like Educational decrees. However I've always felt education is a local issue not a national one size fits all. I do approve of cracking down on Illegal immigration and sanctuary cities.

I've always believed that it should be illegal for federal government to send funds to state and local governments. After all they are taxing authorities themselves. The practice is a souce of corruption.

No, but for shallow thinking individuals I suppose that could be twisted to seem that way.

Well you sure are an expert on shallow people , must help to grow up so shallow !
