A ‘dreamer’ claims he was secretly deported. The government claims it never happened.

Re: A ‘dreamer’ claims he was secretly deported. The government claims it never happe

The greater the decline of civilization the more important walls get to be, like they used to be...... lawlessness looks the same on the way down as it did on the way up.

The only thing the Great Wall of China is good for is as a tourist attraction.

Are you sure about that? Because DACA is listed in link below as a qualification for enlisting. See list under "Program Criteria"...

http://www.goarmy.com/content/dam/goarmy/downloaded_assets/mavni/mavni-language.pdf

"...Eligible immigrants would be covered by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program initiated by President Obama in 2012. This action provides them with deportation deferrals. Recent studies indicate that more than 550,000 young immigrants have already received these deferrals. Individuals would apply under the Military Accessions Vital to the National Interest program, which currently allows immigrants with certain temporary visas to enlist. These visas cover doctors or those with other critical medical skills or languages, such as Farsi and Arabic. In return for their service the Department of Defense would offer these new enlistees expedited U.S. citizenship. Some could become American citizens in as little as three months. None of this is new. In fact, the Pentagon has been using a pathway to expedited citizenship for decades to help fill its ranks with eligible young men and women..."

Opinion: Undocumented Immigrants In The U.S. Military? That's Actually Nothing New | Fox News

That's been covered, MANVI by nature applies to non Citizens, DACA allowance is therefore permitted, and MANVI is strictly limited to certain professionals.

Your second link is outright silly, the article title is misleading because he starts with undocumented immigrants (illegal aliens) and then prcoeeeds to talk about ow many immigrants are in the military (while calling black Americans immigrants ) legal immigrants with residency status can enlist, as long as we have had immigrant control enlisting in the military has required legal status in this country

Illegal immigrants who are caught in the service (after lying to recruiters or cooperating with unscrupulous recruiter in falsifying documents) are prosecuted for fraudulent enlistment and dishonorably discharged

Sorry, but I could've sworn that you said that Dreamers couldn't legally enlist...

you cannot serve "honorably" as a dreamer, without a green card or US nationality you are committing a federal crime by enlisting in the military...

As the goarmy.com webpage pointed out, the Dreamers can in fact legally and "honorably" enlist without a green card or being a US national.

As for your second point...it was FoxNews...so what do you expect? lol

It says non citizen nationals can enlist in limited circumstances. So ok if an illegal alien here under DACA speaks Farsi or has a medical license they can join to do those jobs, you cannot as an illegal immigrant cannot roll in and join the service legally without a green card

also MANVI grants a green card prior to enlistment, so they are not joining out of DACA without a green card

Good fence

good fences make good neighbors. 'A great achievement of western culture is that many peer over that wall and
grant respect to people outside it. A great failure of western culture is to deny that walls are inevitable & important!

Lord let see in history we have the great wall of China and the roman wall in England and the East Berlin Wall during the cold war.

None of them function very well except perhaps the Berlin wall being back up by machine guns and mines and even so people tunnel under it and ram it gates and one family used a hot air balloon and floated over it.

Is Trump planning on mine fields and machine gun towers?

I reread the webpage and I'm going to concede that they are looking to recruit certain DACA immigrants with certain language and/or medical skills...and Spanish doesn't appear to be one of them. So the only hope for a Dreamer from Mexico would be to get some kind of medical training before trying to enlist.

Laws of a country apply to citizens.

Then immigrants can murder whoever they want because laws don't apply to them?

Right, that's clearly the point.

It means if you commit crime here then you don't get rights. You don't have a right to an attorney. You don't have a right to a fair trial. It's a privilege that our fair country grants them, but if you're here illegally, you deserve nothing.

But consider the idea of sending Mexicans to Afghanistan. Trumpettes just came all over their keyboards.

So there is no such thing as basic human rights?

Tell that to Saudi Arabia.

Re: A ‘dreamer’ claims he was secretly deported. The government claims it never happe

Sorry wrong as everyone repeat everyone on US soil is cover by the constitution and that is one of the main reasons that we are still keeping some of our prisons off US soil in Cuba.

The constitution applies but programs such as welfare and all the other goodies are not in the constitution there fore only apply to citizens on the country.

I understand this land was once a part of a indians, spain, mexico but its current form in the United states and as such we have a right to place phisical boundrys between us and any neighbor country.

Mexicans as a pharse is used to described mexican americans, legal people. Trump supporters have no problems with them. They have problems with people who are from other countries illegally coming into this country
