Current discovery indicates that the adolescent brain is not fully developed at 15. They have the ability to think and reason. They even have the capability of stopping and applying long term thought processes. But it isnt an autonomic response. They dont often think things out. What looks like a good idea RIGHT NOW would likely not be considered had they the inclination and capacity to think things out long term. It makes adolescents fairly vulnerable to being manipulated, especially in a deficit home environment where the foundation needs arent met.

Ya, this is not the thread for this conversation but if we had it I would point out that in my experience women dont both figure out what they want and also try to get it till about age 35, so are we to make women wait that long to enjoy sex?

I say no.

Anyways, I am not going to continue to divert this thread, but I will show up to a conversation on the subject.

Its actually directly applicable to the situation. This is nothing less than kidnapping, abuse, and if sexual contact has occurred, sexual assault and rape.

No it means if she is able to be adult enough to consent to abortion(which can kill her) and sex change she is adult enough to consent to going on the run with an older man

Also at 15 u can be charged as an adult with a crime

A 50 year old teacher kidnapped a student and took her out of school. That alone requires prison for justice. Rape would make the sentence longer. I'd hope any somewhat well-adjusted adult can see that seducing children is rape.

Whatever, not important. My point is...why do the police need to coach her to say bad things about the man?

Don't get me wrong, I could happily point out all the reasons why a 50 year old person in authority shouldn't be trying to seduce a 15 year old student, but that's not important at the moment.

My question is why you think they need to coach her to say anything, when he clearly and provably violated the law. So please explain your suggestion the police is trying to apply undue influence on the child and then we can, perhaps, get into why you think it's wrong for the police to sway a girl's opinions to help bring a criminal to justice, but not wrong for her much older teacher to do so for sexual gain.

I never said that the police will coach her.

It's absurdly easy for a grown person (especially with an income) to get a child to think things are "cool".

"You decide where we drive the car!"... "Cool!"
"You can have alcohol"... "Cool!"
"You're so mature"... "Cool!"
"You're so smart"... "Cool!"

It's even easier when the person is in a position of authority. The child really has no chance against the woos of an adult. That's why it's rape.

If you can understand how easy it is to woo a child, then you should be able to understand why it's rape.
