Mockery, anger in South Korea over USS Carl Vinson 'bluffing'

Wrong.
It was a valid comparison while the one you used was not.

It is heading there.

I said what Trump did, lol. How is that not valid?

It was in the vicinity when he said he was "sending an Armada". Three days later it was in Indonesia, lmao. Now, it's been 8 days and the damn thing still isn't there?

Don't worry allies, we'll be there... some day. Just like we'll find evidence of Obama tapping Trump's wires... some day.

1. The comparison you made was not valid as already explained.
2. Actually you did not quote him.
And an Armada was sent.

Again. It is on its way.

'US President Donald Trump said he was sending "an armada" to Korean waters to potentially deal with threats from Pyongyang.

But its no-show has caused some South Koreans to question his leadership and strategy regarding their unpredictable neighbor in the north.'

South Koreans worried over USS Carl Vinson carrier group bluster - CNN.com

Thoughts?

South Korea has nothing to complain about. They have been freeloading off of the United States ever since we saved them during the war.

Trump can gladly charge S. Korea and Japan for the services our country provides them instead of the sweetheart deal that has been provided to them.

1. The comparison you made was not valid as already explained.
2. Actually you did not quote him.
And an Armada was sent.

Again. It is on its way.

1. The last thing I said wasn't a comparison. I literally said what Trump did and you said it was not valid.
2. "We are sending an armada. Very powerful," Trump told Fox Business Channel's Maria Bartiromo. "We have submarines. Very powerful. Far more powerful than the aircraft carrier. That, I can tell you."

It was in the vicinity when he said he was sending it, then it left, lol. What kind of message does that send to our allies? I got your back bro, waaaaay back.

Let's be honest here. What really happened is that Trump doesn't actually know what exactly is going on and he spoke about something he was not clear on. He is someone who says whatever is convenient in the moment without much thought. Kind of like a little kid that has a lying problem.

N. Korea has very limited surveillance capabilities. Radar is limited as well.

And how do you know any of this? Where on Earth did you learn about North Korea's capabilities? Or are you doing that thing you do where you lie and spout utter nonsense again?

That's great and everything but it does not explain why trump did not know that his aircraft carrier was in a different location and that by making his bluff he showed her had no effective grasp of millitary matters

I know if I were president I would not spend all day watching exactly where all my aircraft carrier groups are. There are lots of other things that need my personal attention. I would have talked to my admiral and told him what I wanted and left it up to him to accomplish the task. There were clearly other things already scheduled that needed to be rescheduled or even finished before proceeding to the other half of the world. Trump may have just told them to finish up what they were already doing then head to N. Korea the idiot in charge of that country is stirring the pot again as usual. When asked about the fleet he said it is being sent to N. Korea. That was clearly the plan. just because it was finish up some other task before leaving is nothing strange or unusual. It is not like a war has broken out. This idiot leader in N. Korea has been causing trouble for years now. One more day is not going to change anything. Hell the leader of N Korea most likely would not even have known that the fleet wasn't already in place except for our media.

So the carrier group was finishing up what they were doing before heading to N. Korea. They were not heading in the wrong direction after all. All the hype about where it was headed was just that media hype. The war with N. Korea will have to wait until we get around to it.

And how do you know any of this? Where on Earth did you learn about North Korea's capabilities? Or are you doing that thing you do where you lie and spout utter nonsense again?

First off I know how radar works and I am certified in its use. I also know quite a bit about long range missiles. Radar does not follow the curvature of the earth and is limited by the horizon. Long range missiles need to make course corrections to be accurate. That means tracking stations or satellites which N. Korea and most other small nations do not have. They are much more expensive than the technology to produce a nuclear weapon. Only a limited number of nations posses such technology. None of them will help N. Korea lob a nuke at us for fear of retaliation by us.

1. The last thing I said wasn't a comparison. I literally said what Trump did and you said it was not valid.
I am not sure you are following. Nor did you actually quote Trump the first time around. The comparison you made was that which was previously referred to. You know, the one which started with "If your boss called ..."

Secondly.
Your second statement, that which you replied with as shown below, did not refute what had been said.
(Please note the lack of Trump's actual words in your statement.)

Me: If a soldier receives orders to a new duty station for three weeks down the road, they are completely correct if they say they are on there way there.

You: If a president says an Armada is heading to the Koreas, but they are actually going the other direction, he is completely incorrect.

If a ship has orders to go somewhere, just like the individual service member example above, and regardless of what they have to finish first, there is nothing incorrect about saying it is on its way as that is considered as being on it way.
Not understanding that does not change the reality of it.

2. "We are sending an armada. Very powerful," Trump told Fox Business Channel's Maria Bartiromo. "We have submarines. Very powerful. Far more powerful than the aircraft carrier. That, I can tell you."
Nothing here is false.
"We are sending an Armada." Did we not send an armada? Of course we did.
Was there a time frame that was not met by that statement? Nope.
Matter of fact, as already pointed out, CNN was given the information that Group first had to finish its exercise before it could follow through on those orders.
Yet CNN didn't widely report that information.

Let's be honest here. What really happened is that Trump doesn't actually know what exactly is going on and he spoke about something he was not clear on. He is someone who says whatever is convenient in the moment without much thought. Kind of like a little kid that has a lying problem.
iLOL
Honesty of personal opinion, not necessarily of relevant reality.

Everyone knows my statement there was not an assumption.
iLOL Wrong.
So now you chose to assume what others "know". Hilarious.
Get a clue, they can not know any such thing when it is not true.

So, are you going to drop this irrelevant off-topic personal baiting bs, or do I have to report it?

Then tell that to Trump's administration, because THEY said there was confusion.
And again, had CNN widely reported what they were told we would not be were we are at.

Aww, that's cute how you ignore the facts so you can regurgitate something already proven irrelevant.
iLOL
No, that is clearly what you are doing.

But Trump did not state the carrier was going to Australia first
No such requirement exists.
On its way suffices.

and definitely suggested it was directly heading towards Korea and officials have clearly said Mattis misspoke and that there was miscommunication between the Pentagon and the White House.
iLOL And again. Irrelevant as the clarification was given.

You're fighting a losing battle when even administration officials have come out and said there was confusion.
No.
I have not denied there was confusion.
Again.
We would not be were we are had CNN widely reported the information they were given. It was clear from that point onward that it was known the Carrier group had to first finish their exercise before following their new orders.

Everything there was true and you cannot deny it. Mattis misspoke, as stated by US defense officials. And there was a "miscommunication" between the Pentagon and the White House, as stated by a senior administration official.
iLOL As already replied to, all irrelevant partisan nonsense.
It was known, just not widely reported as it should have been.

Again, I know the partisanship runs strong, but you are literally trying to defend Trump on something even his own administration says happened.
iLOL
No.
At no point have I said confusion did not happen, I have repeatedly said that if the information released had been widely reported we likely would not be where we are at.
Not once have you disputed that.

Everything else argued is pointing out the false claims, and that it is not as big as a deal as the partisan hacks are making it out to be.

Yeah, I've already reached my limit for reading dishonest posting this week. You said all that and did not say a single thing to refute what I said, just mindlessly parroted your partisan talking points. And, as I said, I've reached my limit for the week.

Have a great day.

You guys just don't have the ability to look into Trump's heart. You can only consume what the librul MSM tells you. Sad!

Yes, how silly of me. When I hear someone say "she's on her way up there", I should know to understand "up there" really means "away from there until a pre-planned event at a later date is finished". I mean, who doesn't know that, right?

And I should know that when President Trump is asked (paraphrase), "What are we doing about North Korea RIGHT NOW", and Trump answers, "We are sending an armada", I should really know that means, "meh, we'll send something whenever we get around to it...we have other things to do first".

I really need to learn to speak Trumpese. In my defense, however, it seems like a very confusing language, where no word means the same thing twice.

You think NK knew?

Remember Trump mentioning subs? Bet they are there right now.

Yes I think they knew. Trump told the Ruskies about the bombing of the airport.

Trump used his limited vocabulary to say what he did, which was the reverse of the truth. To say what he had in mind is to say he has a mind. The man is unhinged. The excuses from those that defend Trump, as if there is such a thing as alternative facts, truth, universe, etc. is unreal. There is no excuse for this man.

What would have happened if Obama, during his campaign, it surfaced, on tape, that he had once talked about grabbing a woman's genitalia? Or Hillary grabbing a man's genitalia? Trump crossed over the line of reason a long time ago. He doesn't keep crossing that line. It's far away behind him.

Very, well said.

Yeah, I've already reached my limit for reading dishonest posting this week.
1. Not from reading anything I said.
2. Such a comment just shows you have no valid argument.

You said all that and did not say a single thing to refute what I said, just mindlessly parroted your partisan talking points.
:lamo
It is repeated because you did not refute it.

Have a great day.
Have another one. :)
