Of course they were programmed by FOX. Now we have O'Reilly's face, and that of his strongest supporter--trump--to plaster all over GOP candidates .

Many of the Tea Party patriots had been watching the lies on the mainstream media for a long time and just seething with anger at the leftward, downward slide the country was in.

They didn't need any coaching to know what to do and more than the Minutemen needed a Fox News to get them going

I think you're on to something. I think Chaffetz is quitting because he doesn't want to have anything more to do with Trump...or the hearings that will inevitably come to investigate Trump's financial dealings...or be responsible for taking away peoples healthcare in his own district.

And too...he insulted his own constituents when he went to the press after his town hall and called them 'thugs'. Imagine...calling a twelve year old girl a thug because she had the audacity to ask him if believed in science.

If "voters" had to present a voter registration card for the district the town hall represented Obama/Soros ruffians would not get in and republican townhalls would be as peaceful as a yoga class

That doesn't sound very democratic or American. Town halls are for the people to be heard by their representatives.

I guess you forgot about the shout downs and violence at the Dem town halls on Obamacare, eh? They were anything but peaceful..so the Dems decided not to hold anymore townhalls...and that allowed for the rise of the tea party. So Republicans are trying to learn from the Dems mistake by holding more townhalls...because if they don't, a grassroots resistance could form against them just like it did to the Dems.

How would that voter registration card work for Senators, rather than Congressman.

We could check the parking lots for out-of-state and out-of-country plates too .

His district includes Utah County which is the most conservative county in the country. But gerrymandering also gave him part of Salt Lake County which is a lot more urban and liberal...and thats where his townhall was held.

Its happened before. It was quite a while back....but a democrat did win the seat back in the 80's in 90% Republican Utah County and the other rural districts that comprised the district at the time.
