Susan Rice Did Nothing Wrong, Say Both Dems and Republicans

I find the recent proliferation of "anonymous sources" likely a cover for making things up.

Then clearly you need to be looking at those anonymous sources coming from the Right because so far most of those coming from the Left have been firmly substantiated.

In the past "experts" loved throwing their names out there because it raises their stature. Now all of a sudden mum's the word unless it's anonymous?

If you believe all these "anonymous sources" are legit then I've got some great oceanfront property in Wyoming I'd like to sell you.

No one's claiming that all anonymous sources are honest and truthful, but it's striking that since mid-October 2016 the vast majority of lies have come from those on the Right, not the Left. Not even you can deny that the majority of the back tracking and verbal gymnastics has come from those on the Right. Why else would folks like Atty Gen. Session and Rep. Nunes have to recuse themselves, or Press Sec. Spice have to work so hard at clarifying his statements and/or those of the POTUS on damned near a daily basis, or people either from the Trump campaign or his Administration being fired for falsehoods or omissions of facts.

It's easy to point the finger at the media these days and proclaim everything as "fake news", but when those "alternative facts" are disproved it's rather tough trying to keep standing behind them when substantive truth back-kicks you right in the balls.

Susan Rice for 2020. There hasn't been such a open liar since Hillary Clinton, you'll be very excited and back her.

Fun fact: in the first 84 days of his presidency, Trump has made 394 false or misleading statements.

By comparison, Hillary Clinton has made 145 analyzed false or misleading statements in the totality of her 35 year career in politics, which is 249 fewer false or misleading statements than Trump has made in just 84 days.

If Trump were to continue his trend and spend 35 years in politics as Hillary Clinton has, he will have made a total of 59,920 false or misleading statements.

59,920 is 59,775 more false/misleading statements than Clinton has made in her entire 35 year political career.

Try again. Suspected Russian agents were being surveilled. If Trump or his staff were unmasked it was because they got caught talking to the Russians who were being surveilled.

So after all the hysteia of rigged elections, collusion, and all that, it all boils down to a few Trump campaign folks talking to a couple of Russians whom the Obama Admin thought were Russian agents.
How the mighty have fallen. Why did Clinton lose again?

But since the Obama Admin used the IRS for political purposes, its not unreasonable to wonder whether it used the intelligence apparatus of the USA for political purposes. Even if the Obama had not abused its power at other times, spying on political opponents, or the appearance of such spying, is no small shake.

The media has given up all objectivity and has resorted to using "anonymous sources" as shorthand for "we made this up".

Comparing Clinton to Trump is like comparing Secretariat to Milk Wagon Joe.
What exactly does Hillary Clinton have to be proud about. She was in a wierd loveless marriage
with an ex-president, had no impact as a US Senator, was one of he worst Secretary's of State ever
(comically bad), lost a prior run for president to a freshman senator who made up his life.

the Clinton campaign relied on voter fraud in many states, especially in Michigan and Wisconsin. Trump
voters turned out and former Sanders voters didn't in these states. The result was it canceled out the
voter fraud margin that Clinton took for granted in these blue states. Then they blamed the Russians.
Thank God we avoided the quality of leadership displayed in the decisions made by the Clinton campaign
in Michigan and Wisconsin. We dodged a major disaster.

Who documented these false or misleading statements you rely upon, Maxine Watters or Rachelle Maddow.
By the way, Trump rarely lies though he may embellish the real truth in a self aggrandizing way!

Well, for one, she lied 249 times less in her entire 35 year career than Trump has in his first 84 days of office. Extended out to a 35 year career, Trump has lied 59,775 more times than she has.

Has trump and his kabal been exonerated yet ?

Exonerated of what? It starting to look like this whole thing is based upon an apparently failed Russian effort in 2013 to recruit Carter Page, a man whose claims to closeness to Trump rests upon his having eaten a few times in the Trump Grill.

Trump will likely resign in disgrace before that happens. Now won't that be exciting?

More of Liberal fantasyland. Don't your remember it was liberal fantasyland for Hillary to go up against Trump in the general? How'd that turn out for ya?

Obviously you have a serious problem in counting. Apparently math is not your strong suit.

Trump lies at an average of 4.6 lies per day. If you multiply that by 365 and then multiply that by 35 (the total number of years Clinton has been in politics), you get 59,920 lies.

I'm sure Trump won't serve in politics for 35 years, though. He's already pretty old and frankly he's not a very healthy dude. What would be fairer to say is that by the end of his term he will have made a total of 6848 false or misleading statements.

I'm not listening to any of your biased sources that don't even know what the definition of a lie actually is.

Ooooh, they just updated the page. Out of 91 analyzed days in office, Trump has made 417 false or misleading statements. He's been a little quiet lately, which is probably why his average has gone down from 4.6/day to 4.58/day. This means that he will have made 6686 lies by the end of his term.

False or misleading are both different than lies. The fact that you would rather have a lying dishonest crook (Hillary) as president means that you are ok having a liar as president so your criticisms of Trump are invalid.
