:shrug: Looks like we got another Obama in the POTUS seat. Always blame the last administration or the other side when things don't go your way seems to be the standard now a days.

Stupid when Obama did it. And it's just as stupid when Trump does it. Sometimes I wish someone would just staple Trumps mouth and fingers shut.

JOKE: The Three Envelopes
A fellow had just been hired as the new CEO of a large corporation. The current CEO was stepping down and met with the new hire privately in his office, where he handed him three numbered envelopes.

“Open these if you run up against a problem you don’t think you can solve,” the first CEO said.

Things went along pretty smoothly for the first six month, but then sales took a downturn and the new CEO began catching a lot of heat. He went to his drawer and took out the first envelope. The message read, “Blame your predecessor.”

The new CEO called a press conference and tactfully laid the blame at the feet of the previous CEO. Sales began to pick up and the problem was soon behind him.

About a year later, the company was again experiencing a slight dip in sales, combined with serious product malfunctions. Having learned from his previous experience, the CEO opened the second envelope. The message read, “Reorganize.” This he did, and the company quickly rebounded.

After several consecutive profitable quarters, the company once again fell on hard times. The CEO went to his office, closed the door and opened the third envelope.

The weakness of obama was drawing a red line and then wimping out when assad crossed it

If obama had decided to let the syrians kill each other with no intervention from the US that would be ok with me.

But instead he decided to get involved in the weakest way possible and did nothing but make the situation worse in my opinion
 
Trump is the current president of the USA and he owns every problem on this planet.

Let's look back 4 years from now and see if he has accomplished anything.

Trump blames Obama for a lot of things.

Actually, he blames a lot of people for a lot of things.

But he never blames himself for his own shortcomings.

Obama inherited the worst free-fall economy since the Great Depression 80 years earlier, followed by an obstructionist opposition party Congress. Trump inherited a great economy, and a same party Congress.

I see definite difference in matter of degree.

Actually Obama had 2 years to get whatever he wanted done done even with the Republicans doing what they did. Remember, when he was elected the Dems controlled both the house and senate.

Now, that talk about Obama inheriting the economy he did...that only holds so far. It certainly doesn't hold throughout the entirety of Obama's 2 terms as President. And it doesn't hold for Obama blaming Bush for Fast and Furious, or blaming Bush for Iran having 19,000 nuclear centrifuges.

Note that I'm just pointing out that Obama blamed Bush for more than just the economy. So the "degree" actually is the same.

I should also note that to me "degree" in this case doesn't matter. Blaming past Admins for crap that isn't true or is completely subjective is still stupid. And whether or not Obama was "weak" in regards to Syria is completely subjective.

Obama inherited a democrat congress and a filibuster proof democrat senate, it's what he chose to do with that which earned him an obstructionist opposition party

The iranians were already major sponsors of assad.

But obama allowed the russians to become established in syria also and that makes trump's task much more difficult than it would have been otherwise

On the plus side trump does not have an unAmerican and pro iran valerie jarrett pulling his strings for him so America does not have to be nice to the crazy mullahs anymore
 
Trump is the typical disfunctional damaged egomaniacal narcissist who takes credit for all the positive stuff while shirking any of the blame for the bad stuff. It is a sign of his severe mental disability that threatens to do great damage to our nation and its people.

I wish they would hurry up and begin whatever proceedings they use to get him TF out of office. I'm kind of afraid of what/who would be next, but he is a disaster.

Not in my view. So far he is just about the same as his predecessors, a war criminal intent on enrichening his friends and family, with utter disregard for the US Constitution.

Leiberman saw to it that it wasn't a filibuster proof at all. Not to mention the top saw to it that it took the first half year not to seat Al Frankenstein.
