Steele has been with ESPN for a decade, and has been at the center of several controversies in recent months regarding her conservative political views. In January, Steele came under fire when she complained about protesters of President Donald Trump's travel ban, causing her to miss her flights

Most recently, Steele found herself in hot water after saying at a conference in February that the "worst racism that I have received ... is from black people."

"There are times that I believe that we, as African-Americans, can be hypocritical, and that is to not look ourselves in the mirror when we are saying certain things and blaming other groups for one thing when we are doing the exact same thing," she added.

It wasn't the proper forum, but I have no doubt, if she leaned the other way politically, she's still be in that chair.

Nobody is scorned more in the media than the conservative black American, especially if she is a woman.

Tomi Lauren was recently let go by the Blaze for being pro-choice. That was fine as it went against the brand they are trying to present. Why would we hold ESPN to a standard of not protecting their brand? Maybe, if it was a liberal point of view, Steele would not he fired, because maybe that's part of the brand ESPN wants to present.

Your persecution complex notwithstanding, ESPN should be held to the same standard as the Blaze.

The Blaze is run by a alcoholic, drug-addicted, sociopathic lunatic. ESPN is run by ABC wing of the DNC.

I don't know from one action if we can say what they think.

As long as Stephen A. Smith is still with ESPN, I'd have to say that it isn't a Democrat vs Republican ideology thing at ESPN, because he's about as anti- "Democrat love no matter what" as a black ESPN talent can get:

Of course this has more to do with the individual being a conservative. They had no problem with Keith Olbermann. And how could being angry about missing flights because of protesters be considered controversial? I'd be rightfully pissed too.

And you really think that is the only singular reason that Beck is scorned. Beck's downward trend is self inflicted
similar to the the Keith Olberman downhill slide.

Well, we do have 34 governorships, 72 percent of state legislative positions, the House, the Senate, the presidency, and the Supreme Court by Friday.

So, yeah, we are the mainstream. Just not the mainstream media.

Nope, the D's won popular vote. Though that doesn't mean sht when it comes to electing a president, but it displays an over all majority of which way the country leans. More people are leaning left

Most people are middle of the road common sense. To bad this election didn't have a candidate that represents us. We had a lying sack of crap or a sack of crap that lies to choose from. Most people are leaning "none of the above" Neither candidate captured a majority of the American peoples vote.
