Thinking its not the government's job to prop up certain entertainment forms is not the same as saying One doesn't care for the arts

I didn't say she doesn't approve of them. I said she doesn't care for them. She doesn't really. She's a professional model. She was paid to do a job, pretend she likes stuff, and then walk around the house in sweats when nobody is looking.

This isn't a person you're going to have deep introspective conversations about surrealism and its impact on the American flower power movement.

Karma is a hypocrite for both sides if their stance on presidential travel seems to flip along party lines.

I stand firm on congress setting a limit and any coverages are responsibility of president.

You may be correct in how you perceive MsTrump but
I've never personally meet her to say what kind of conversations she could offer up.

It's prejudice to judge on outward appearances. First Lady Trump is a supermodel so she must no be able to have deep conversations. First Lady Obama was a black woman so she must of talked loudly throughout a movie. Both are based on negative stereotypes

But what? She's a college drop-out who married a rich guy after years of working as a model. In any other context, she'd be a trophy wife. That's fine. It's not her job to care for the arts, and so she only needs to in as much as her job demands. This woman isn't doing the actual work behind restoring museums, providing educational programs for the population, she's not in classrooms teaching humanities or arts.

She's a model. Why would she care for arts? She doesn't. So she has no say in this really. Good grief, you think anybody in the Oval Office is going 'What does Melania think about this funding?'

It's a matter of Undue/UNprecedented Cost, Security Concerns, Self-Promotion.. and Lack of interest.

A Man who, unlike all his opponents, has never held office, Never National office/been in Washington to do so/Needs to learn the ropes.
Yet he spent app 30+% of his first 65 days with 13 visits to His Own Golf Properties.
WTF is the comprehension problem here?

Even if it was just a matter of (this repeated Vacuous/mere) 'begrudging vacations', it would be like comparing someone with 3 paintings on the wall to a Hoarder.

Trumpov repeatedly criticized Obama for his golfing frequency, and said if Prez, he wouldn't even have time for such outings.

Trump has already 'kidnapped' the Japanese PM, and soon the Chinese President, as an excuse to go to, and Bolster as well, Mar-a-lago, where the membership fees have doubled in the last few months.

This inquiry doesn't include things like last week's Ivanka/Jared/Eric's Aspen trip that alone involved 100 Secret Service agents. Yikes!
Don't even want to guess the co$t of that one.

Ridiculous spin. The GOA is measuring how much it costs and how the security is handled. Liberals would prefer an unaccountable government where millions of dollars disappear into thin air.
 
I wouldn't mind as much if Trump slept at Camp David every weekend or even visited with his estranged wife in New York City. This is nothing like that. Mar-a-Lago is a playground resort. A Trump business venture in Palm Beach. It's fairly obvious that Trump is purposefully injecting his Mar-a-Lago resort into the executive limelight and reaping the rewards; free national/global advertising that would cost a king's ransom to purchase and a corresponding degree of notoriety that allowed Trump to (so far) double club membership fees ... a sort of pay-to-play setup where wealthy clients get to bend the ear of the President of the United States almost every weekend. Trumps Mar-a-Lago weekends are nothing at all like George Bush's occasional getaway to his Crawford ranch or Jimmy Cater enjoying a week of quiet time on his peanut farm in Georgia. And no, in my world Trump milking his presidential position to promote his Florida cash cow does not contribute anything at all to making America great again. But it certainly does fatten up the value of this Trump Organization Florida real-estate. A business organization that Trump - supposedly! - has nothing to do with.
