SHOTS have been heard at the US Capitol in Washington with reports of streets being cleared around the Government building.
People were cleared from the streets as pictures from the scene show cops swarming close to the Capitol.

Shots fired near Capitol, suspect in custody - ABC News

U.S. Capitol Police responded to the area at Washington Ave and Independence Ave, which is located near the U.S. Botanic Garden and the Rayburn House office building.

The suspect apparently struck a Capitol Police cruiser and then tried running over several officers who were on foot, according to Metro DC Police. The suspect has been taken into custody. No one was hit by the suspect's car, police said.

Why has more of this nonsense occurred since the inauguration than the entire eight years of Obama's presidency?

The lefties love this stuff, whether it's a conservative speaker at a university, or this train of folks around the White House.

The unhinged left needs to be dealt with.

The suspect apparently struck a Capitol Police cruiser and then tried running over several officers who were on foot, according to Metro DC Police. At one point Capitol Police fired shots, but no one was hit.

Maybe...just maybe these nuts were hired by Trump to make the WH appear unsafe so people will sympathize and agree that he needs to spend all his time in Mar-a-lago and Melania needs to stay in NY. Safety 1st! ;)

Since most of government in DC lives in Virginia because Maryland sucks, that would change a lot of commutes.
