Long Island Man Charged in Sex Assault of Toddler, 2 Stabbings was Deported 4 Times

Re: Long Island Man Charged in Sex Assault of Toddler, 2 Stabbings was Deported 4 Tim

It seems that there are new stories of illegal immigrants committing vicious crimes daily in this country. And yes, some don't. But after so much scrutiny of President Trump's remarks about rapists illegally migrating to the USA, even the most die hard liberal must admit that there's some truth to what Trump said.

The man in this story was even deported on multiple occasions. We must admit that there's a problem before truly progressing as a country.

Well, that settles it. Build the wall, deport them all, and hope they don't know about climbing.

Uh huh. You haven't posted a thing to support anything you have had to say but anecdotal crap.

Oh, crap, eh? Not information known to those who've been keeping up?

Try this (and there is a list of the ten states with the most illegal immigrants, and I'll bet a dime yours isn't on it):

According to recent data, there are approximately 11.4 million illegal immigrants living in the United States, costing American taxpayers $346 billion annually. While these immigrants come to the United States for a better quality of life, the healthcare system is greatly affected by their increasing population and use of healthcare services.

According to The Center for Immigration Studies, the estimated cost of treating uninsured illegal immigrants is $4.3 billion a year, primarily at emergency rooms and free clinics. Some illegal immigrants even receive Medicaid benefits, despite the fact that they are not eligible to enroll in Medicaid plans, according to a Kaiser Health News report. Additionally, a 2007 report published by the Journal of the American Medical Association found that within a span of four years, about 99 percent of those who used emergency Medicaid were immigrants who entered the country illegally. 10 states with the most illegal immigrants, impact on healthcare spending

Re: Long Island Man Charged in Sex Assault of Toddler, 2 Stabbings was Deported 4 Tim

I live in California, a sanctuary state. The negative impact of illegal immigration goes far beyond crime. The central valley of California is now the most polluted region of the United States, due to population explosion. Several decades ago, the valley was actually a place where doctors recommended people with breathing problems to go, because the air quality was above standard.

There are now over 1,000,000 gang members in the US, the majority of which are Latino. The gang members are largely first or second generation Americans.

The job market for entire industries have been decimated, due to illegals who are willing to work for wages that most Americans can't sustain their families on.

And finally, I've personally witnessed illegal immigration in my area, and how it is changing the state into a ****hole, full of pollution, heavy traffic, and crime. I guess I should be overwhelmingly excited about paying less for lettuce like the media tells me to though, right?

And in the Europe forum you tell me that Europe is a hellhole?

Yes right as they get almost zero public benefits and do trillions of dollars worth of labor at far below market rates making people like Trump even more wealthy.

Do Illegal Immigrants Actually Hurt the U.S. Economy? - The New York Times

The impact on everyone else, though, is surprisingly positive. Giovanni Peri, an economist at the University of California, Davis, has written a series of influential papers comparing the labor markets in states with high immigration levels to those with low ones. He concluded that undocumented workers do not compete with skilled laborers — instead, they complement them. Economies, as Adam Smith argued in “Wealth of Nations,” work best when workers become specialized and divide up tasks among themselves. Pedro Chan’s ability to take care of routine tasks on a work site allows carpenters and electricians to focus on what they do best. In states with more undocumented immigrants, Peri said, skilled workers made more money and worked more hours; the economy’s productivity grew. From 1990 to 2007, undocumented workers increased legal workers’ pay in complementary jobs by up to 10 percent.

I saw this in action when Chan took me to his current work site, a two-story office building on Coney Island Avenue. The skilled workers had already installed wood flooring in a lawyer’s office and were off to the next job site. That left Chan to clean up the debris and to install a new toilet. As I looked around, I could see how we were on one end of an economic chain reaction. Chan’s boss no longer had to pay a highly skilled worker to perform basic tasks. That lowered the overall cost of construction, increasing the number of jobs the company could book, which meant more customers and more money. It reminded me of how so many restaurants operate. Without undocumented labor performing routine tasks, meals, which factor labor costs into the price, would be more expensive. There would also be fewer jobs for waiters and chefs.

Earlier that day, I was reminded of another seldom-discussed fact about immigrant life in the United States. Immigrants spend most of the money they make. Chan had broken down his monthly expenses: $400 a month in rent, another $30 or so for gas, electric and Internet. He sends some money home and tries to save a few thousand a year in his Citibank account, but he ends up spending more than $10,000 annually. That includes the $1,400 or so he pays the I.R.S. so that he can have a taxpayer I.D. number, which allows him to have a credit score so that he can rent an apartment or lease a car.

You do realize that the guy had already been deported four times, right? It's not people ignored him being here. He simply came back.

What should they have done the first time he returned--- Shoot him in the face?

If criminals who've been deported can 'simply come back ', then doesn't that tell you that there's a problem? Not only did he reenter the US after deportation, he did so 4 times .

Most illegals get here by simply walking over a footbridge or driving a car past a checkpoint.

Or, repeal NAFTA and place the US military on our border instead of in the Mideast.

If that's what you took away from our discussions, then you need remedial reading lessons. The point of my posts in the Europe section is to warn Europeans not to end up like us in the states.

Before you suggest there's a problem and you expect anyone to lend your comments any cred, think about **** BEFORE you say it.

You pretty much implied that most Mexican immigrants commit crimes. And that is bull****.

He could also have said, "Hospitals are admitting rapists, murders, to practice medicine in their facilities" because some doctors are rapists and murderers and drug dealers. Of course "some" doctors are not any of those things...

FWIW the icing on the cake was Trump's comment, "Some, I assume, are good people."

How many do you know personally?

The largest racial group in California prisons is Latinos, and its been that way since 1992, long before they were a majority of the overall state.

Illegals working legitimate jobs are using stolen identities.

Why do you defend criminal activity?

I'm not going to give credence to your link, sorry. The AIC is blindly pro-immigration, both legal and illegal, and will never publish any fact about immigration that isn't glowingly positive. The fact that a pro- illegal immigration website says that illegals don't commit crime means less than nothing.

Re: Long Island Man Charged in Sex Assault of Toddler, 2 Stabbings was Deported 4 Tim

Within the study, is there a demographic that capsulizes the crime rate among those illegal immigrants who have been deported multiple times?

Given the lax enforcement of the laws on this, it seems like the multiple deportees are a special class of miscreant.

Besides, by definition, 100% of illegal immigrants, the only kind of immigrant we're talking about, are criminals. Therefore, because 100% of native born Americans are not criminals, the study is simply wrong.

For ****'s sake, the study was done American Community Survey. AKA the US Census

Something which you don't seem to grasp.

So should we start planting land mines and machine gun nests every six inches or so along the borders?

Why aren't you mad as **** that this clown assaulted and injured a 2 year old child?

Re: Long Island Man Charged in Sex Assault of Toddler, 2 Stabbings was Deported 4 Tim

I don't believe we're being told the truth about crime data. The raw number of murders per year has stayed the same since the late 1960's. Yet rapes have doubled in that time frame, and other violent crime numbers have increased.

Hmm...well, I've shown you mine, I'd be interested to see the data set that supports your belief, or lack thereof, whichever is more appropriate. I tend to require a little more than "feelings", when it comes to overturning statistical analysis.

Sure you do. That's why you automatically believe a fable that was started by the American Immigration Council, a group that pushes for granting citizenship to any of the 8 billion people on earth who want it.

The population of the U.S. was roughly 200 million in the late 60's. Today, the population is 325 million. How does a country add 125,000,000 to its population, and still end up with roughly the same amount of murders every year?

Am I supposed to be impressed that he was kicked out of the country 4 times? The reason he was forcibly removed is because he couldn't live here without committing crime. The fact that he snuck into the country a total of 5 times before finally raping a 2 year old kind of outweighs any congrats I might have had for him being deported.
