They know full well, that when that happens, democrats can sit back and let said SP go forth and find anything even if it is a process charge that has nothing to do with the original reason for investigations....It is after all what happened with Libby in the Bush WH, and they are wishing for that here. I hope Republican's are dumb enough to let that happen.

Now, why is this surveillance most likely ordered from the WH in some fashion, dangerous....? Well, all I can say is that it isn't what "accepting the results of an election" look like, and it isn't what free countries do in the course of an election. It is more akin to what one might see go on when a leader of some 'banana republic' like Venezuela looses power in their elections. It's 'unAmerican' IMHO.

And sadly, all of this because democrats can not, will not accept that Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump.....
