Schiff: There is now 'more than circumstantial evidence' of Trump-Russia collusion - POLITICO

Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, said Wednesday that there is “more than circumstantial evidence now” to suggest that President Donald Trump’s campaign may have colluded with Russia’s attempts to disrupt the election, but he would not offer details.


“I can tell you that the case is more than that,” Schiff told Chuck Todd on MSNBC. “And I can’t go into the particulars, but there is more than circumstantial evidence now.”

If these ****ers have evidence that Trump manipulated the election, has ties to Russian money laundering, or committed a criminal act then it needs to come out right ****ing now. This trickle bull**** isn't helping anything.

Highly unlikely given that this reads as propaganda to keep the spirits up.

All in due time, I think it's going to pickup now. Hopefully by the end of the week we'll have a definitive answer on who all is going down.

Well there's no kind of evidence like circumstantial evidence! My friends brother's cousin's uncle said that there was no collusion between Trump and Russia. I'm pretty sure my circumstantial evidence has more credibility than yours since your source of information is a Democrat.

They sure do seem to be getting frazzled....4 months on and they still cant find anything good enough to spin into impeachment. Pretty soon they will just make something up and be done with it....hope that no one involved comes down with a bout of honesty and sinks the scheme.

For what its worth, Schiff claimed there is "more than circumstantial evidence". I'm not here to try to say that claim is true or false (unsubstantiated, so too soon to tell) but you're just arguing that circumstantial evidence is crap. This is true, but not really the point.

Nah. Dems don't have near the numbers to push for impeachment. The only way it happens, in my opinion, before 2018 (and thats just the first time it COULD happen with dems, not that it will) is if something comes to light that makes him far too toxic for the right and their chances at holding onto seats in 2018 and 2020. That's not to say partisan politics as usual won't continue, however.

If it doesn't come out now then it's simple political gamesmanship. There either is evidence or there isn't. You don't sit there accusing someone of a crime unless you've got evidence that a crime was committed.

The circumstantial evidence Schiff laid out on Monday was significant in and of itself. If he has gone beyond that - they need to dust off those prison cells for some of the Trump people. Or maybe the Russians will take them and honor them as heroes who served Russia honorably.

Comey is going to hang someone out there after his Monday performance. Flynn is a given, lets see if he can flip him. Would also guess that the FBI will NEVER find a leaker, as it will lead to someone in Obama's white house, perhaps Comey himself.

Putin could never do as much damage to the public's faith in our government than the "intelligence community" has done the last several months.
