Re: Schiff: There is now 'more than circumstantial evidence' of Trump-Russia collusio
How are those American people feeling about ACA right about now compared to trumpcare?
By all means, try blaming the minority party for GOPs not having a plan after opposing ACA for political reasons for 8 years.
I see you're ignoring the 161 GOP amendments and 4 GOP planks in ACA.
Since you want DEMs to suffer, you've shown your true GOP partisan colors.
The people who will suffer from GOP incompetence will be trump voters, as it should be.
I'm so glad to see GOPs fighting with each other and in trouble at home .
I have been anti-Obamacare from the get go. If you think that makes me a Republican, so be it. Since the American people originally said by a huge margin they didn't want this albatross and the Democrats told them to eat sand. Sure the Democrats deserved the results of the 2010 election. Obamacare was the elites in Washington D.C. telling the American people they knew what was best for them, that the American people were stupid and dumb and had no idea what was good or bad for them. Hence Obamacare.
For that I do think the Democrats deserve to suffer and suffer big time. I hope this repeal and replace goes down to defeat because the Republican Representatives don't march in lock step with their party and president, that they listen to the folks back home unlike the Democrats back in 2009 and 2010. The Democrats just goosed stepped to passage not caring one iota about how those they represented felt. A pure example of party over people.
You're going to have every Democrat voting against repeal and replace. If that is what the folks in every Democratic representative district wants, I'm fine with that. But if there are some districts where the people feel the other way, then the Democratic representative should vote for passage. I am sick and tired of all the loyalty to party, for the good of the party and not caring about what the people think or want or wish for. The same applies to the Republicans, each should vote for the people of their district, not for their political party or president. To heck with Trump.
And yes, I am still peeved to the max that our two major political parties nominated two candidates that over 60% of all Americans didn't want to be their next president. Like Obamacare, for me that is unforgiveable. We have this idiot Trump, this egotistical opportunist, this numb skull as president because the dumb butt cracked Democrats choose their nominee prior to the 2012 election.
The Democrats got what they deserve, a Trump presidency, the rest of us didn't. But don't worry, the Democrats because of Trump will win back the House in 2018 because the GOP was idiots in nominating this__________fill in the black with any derogatory word you wish. Heck, even though the numbers in the senate, those up for re-election say it is almost impossible for the Democrats to take it back, I would say they have a real shot at it. Personally, I want the Dems to win at least one of the chambers in 2018, which one is irrelevant. But we do need check and balance on which ever party holds the white house.
It also did my heart good at seeing Reid's nuclear option used against him and the Dems during the nomination process. 51 is a lot different than 60 in giving advice and consent. Now we have mob rule in the senate because of Reid's nuclear option. But that is exactly what the Democrats wanted.
I suppose the bottom line is I will always be anti-Obamacare because that was political party agenda triumphing the will of the people. But I would like to see tradition returned to the senate prior to Reid's use of the nuclear option. That will never happen, it will be expanded big time to where the senate becomes just like the House of Representatives, no minority party rights. I will also never forgive either political party for nominating whom they both did. If that makes me a Republican in your eyes, so be it. I have been called much worse. I do lean right in quite a lot of things, but left in others. But unlike most people on this site, I make up my mind on the issues one issue at a time and I don't let either political party or any president tell me what to think or what stance to take on the issues. Way too many do. I heard the term mind numb robots, that applies to the followers of both major political party.
