Re: Schiff:There is now'more than circumstantial evidence' of Trump-Russia collusion[
You, my friend hit the nail on the head. Prior to the election Gallup had a poll out which stated 25% of all Americans detested both candidates. YouGov put that same number at 22%. That is a quarter of all Americans who didn't want either Clinton nor Trump as president. Add to that number those who were anti-Clinton and anti-Trump, you have over 60% of all Americans not wanting one or the other.
According to the exit polls, 50% of the 46% of the total Vote Trump received was a anti-Clinton vote. Any Tom, Dick or Harry would have done instead of Trump for those 23% who voted against Clinton, not necessarily for Trump. If you subtract the anti-Clinton vote, that leaves just 23% who really was for and really wanted Trump to become the next president. This last election was all about whom one didn't want to become president, not an election for whom one wanted as president.
People who voted for Trump disliked him too. They just disliked Hillary more.
