The conflict of interest in sitting on an independent investigation and being, as Schiff says, a surrogate for Trump, is horrific as far as trust in our government institutions is necessary.

IMHO, Breitbart is not media, it's more akin to circus entertainment for the easily amused. Also, I thought we agreed that whatever Trump says about this is cooked already because he's been proven wrong? Why would him doubling down have anything to do with the OP?

But the fact remains that I pointed out that people on the right were taking Nunes words as support for Trumps absurd accusation and you questioned that and so I have proven that what I said was true

Trump is not very precise with his tweets. If he mentioned 'Obama Administration' instead of just 'Obama'
surveying he and others in his inner circle in that case Trump would have hit the nail on the head.

Well no, since Trump claimed that the phones were tapped in Trump Tower during the campaign, and no evidence has been found of such.

I did notice a new thread where a right winger did exactly what you said that followed our conversation here, where I was the very first response setting the facts straight. But, doubt you? I doubt everything everyone says, even much of what I say myself. Very few statements made are of such veracity that they cannot be challenged or not be at the very least, subject to revision.

There's a few things that I have heard that I really find troubling.

1. Nunes told the press that Comey of the FBI was not cooperating but the NSA and CIA have with his requests.
2. Personal phone calls of Trump's family members were picked up during surveillance but the really bad part their names were unmasked and the transcripts of the conversations were widely spread around the agencies. Why? Because none of these reports had anything to do with Russia. Was Clapper, Brennan or Comey hoping the stuff would get leaked to the press for nothing more for embarrassment to the Trump family?
3. Nunes verified this information was obtained legally through a FISA Warrant. The press in several different publication have reported there was a FISA Warrant issued in October of those associated with Trump's campaign. All I can say is that had to be a warrant that amounted to a fishing expedition.
