WrongYes, Kobie, it's actually illegal for US Government to use that information against an American. FISA rules require any American caught up talking to a foreign nation to be written out of all reports of conversations by replacing them with terms like Person A or so on. Any action against an American for warrants has to come from regular courts.
It's why what happen to Michael Flynn is a crime. Or even any talking about Trump and associates involved with Russia because it violated terms of FISA.
