Right and the stock market is almost 21000 so where is the disconnect? What exactly has Trump DONE not said that has hurt you and your family? I am surprised that with people like you and the media that the approval rating is this high. I will judge him on what he DOES not what he says, what he paid in Taxes, what he claimed about wiretapping, what he says Germany owes NATO, but how he creates economic activity, jobs and national security
It's not me. It's the majority of people in the nation, as well as politicians, who have judged his performance as dismal.
How he has hurt the country, let me count the ways. He has harmed our close relationships with our allies Australia (who has fought with us in every war since forever) and Great Britain (accusing the country of illegally spying on Trump at the behest of Obama, of all things!), while continuing to have nothing but praise for America's enemy, Russia, and its brutal leader, Putin. Bizarre and mental. He has supported gutting the budget of our State Department, which bolsters our relations with other countries around the world.
He is backing the taking away of all things beneficial for the ordinary citizens (health care assistance, a clean environment, parks and green areas) while supporting massive amounts of money being given to the wealthy (millions to ins. co. executives, and then there will be the tax cut to benefit himself and other billionaires). Cutting Medicaid.
He is behaving bizarrely and unPresidential. He's a laughingstock around the world. A study out recently said that trust of our country has gone to less than 25%.
There are no jobs of any note forthcoming that HE brought us. None. There is no health care, as promised.
What a sad state of affairs it is when people judge the leader of the our country by whether he has personally harmed you or you or you. That's a pretty low bar. Even so, he has. All the ways mentioned above.
Additionally, the stock market now is sliding. The immigration issues have hit our tourism and travel business. Conventions are going to Canada instead of here. Businesses are finding it increasingly difficult to hire needed workers via work visas...people scared to come here for fear they'll be killed or harassed or have trouble going home.
Then there are the killings of those who look foreign ("Get outta of my country!" one of the murderers yelled). Let loose by a leader who stokes the flames of hate, segregation and fear.
There's something wrong with him mentally. He's not right in the head. The repeated delusional statements: That Obama was wiretapping him (he even mentioned that bizarre fixation on national tv when there was the visit by Germany's Merkel, suggesting that SHE was wiretapped, too), that he had the largest crowd at his inauguration (he wouldn't let go of that...he talked about that to anyone he could, including the Japanese P.M., oddly enough), that thousands of illegals were bused into Pennsylvania or somewhere to illegally vote which means he won the popular vote. Yeah...there's something wrong with him in the head. These are not things that normal human beings say or do.
Someone should say it. Maybe it will take a child, like in the children's story: "The Emperor has no clothes on." while all the adults around were pretending that the Emperor was clothed, to go along with the Emperor's delusion.
