The entire reason people are outraged is because this would have never happened had federal law simply been adhered to.

If the American people, including those in state, county and city governments, don't like our federal immigration laws, then take the necessary steps to have those laws changed. Ignoring the law is flat out wrong, it's irresponsible and as this 14 year old girl knows oh so well, ignoring the law can carry some very devastating consequences.

Every single person who supports sanctuary cities, opposes securing our borders, and believes that people who illegally cross our borders should be left alone and allowed to stay here, not only facilitated the rape of that girl, but also shares responsibility for every other violent crime committed against American citizens by people who entered this country illegally. Whether you like it or not, by supporting the non enforcement of federal immigration laws, you are in effect vouching for every single person who has crossed, or will cross the border illegally.

Obama's government felt it better to babysit these adults in a high-school rather than forcing them to get jobs or better yet notifying ICE so that they could be deported.

What's the debate about here? Two people allegedly committed a crime, they should be charged, tried, and sentenced, if the trial finds sentencing appropriate. Why is this in a debate forum?

Well, there is a question as to why they are in our country and if they were not here, that poor young lady would not have been attacked and had her life changed forever. Other than that, no big deal.

But regardless of why they are in the country, there is a system in place to deal with it...I mean, should anyone committing a crime be deported? It might not be a bad idea...but where would you send them? And if that idea is ridiculous, let's just focus on people from out of the country...is the answer to stop immigration? What about tourists? Business travelers? I mean, you never can tell, right? Preventative measures always get messy, it's probably best to leave it to the standard criminal process.

It is tragic that this young lady had the experience she had, no question, full stop. But you can't get rid of all the threats, and the silliness associated with the notion that immigration policy is going to eliminate risk is a waste of effort, and creates scapegoats. I know *you're* not a racist (right?), but wrong minded logic like this certainly empowers those that are, that's the only thing that comes out of this. Using your logic, you might as well blame here parents...had they not had her, she would have never had this experience....it's just as ridiculous to blame immigration policy. The reality is, she came into contact with two low lifes, and they come in all shapes, colors, sizes....and countries of origin, including America.

Did you read the report? Both boys were place in the 9th grade, without regards to their age.


I guess these things happen in South England, but not in America, and not a common thing by Americans, maybe illegal immigrants...

Rapes happen at high schools all over the country every day. Very few are reported on nationally. This one was. Wonder why?

These two sub humans need to go to jail, then deported, if they ever get out. But you can't just dismiss that they are in the country illegally and say there is a system in place.

My God, we have a system to keep them out, but our last President effectively ordered that those laws don't apply to these guys. People need to be held accountable for their decisions, like those deciding to let people like these thugs stay in the country, and place them in school at their age with younger kids.

Well, yes, people need to be held accountable for their decisions, there's a justice system for that very purpose. But you can't blame someone because a small percentage of immigrants (illegal or otherwise) commit a crime. I mean, what, do we go after the parents of criminals for giving birth to them? The vast majority of immigrants use their opportunity to better themselves, and end up contributing to society. I guess if you could demonstrate a way to ensure that all people entering the country for every purpose can be put through some system that guarantees 100% success in preventing future criminals from entering the country you might have a point, but otherwise it's all a numbers game. And then you're still left with native born criminals, and of the two, what who would you guess represents the bigger threat?

With that being said, regardless who did it, white, black, asian, legal, illegal, a raped occurred, if it happens as often as you say it does, IT SHOULD BE REPORTED NATIONALLY, as the NATION SHOULD BE aware of this, I for one am not familiar with how common you make it sound to be? I live a state where there are 30+ highschools within a 15mile radius, and our news has not reported a rape in 15+ years, that I am aware of... so if. Rape is common the nation needs to know that this is an epidemic, that needs to be addressed.


If it is not an epidemic, that you stated, then it goes back to 2 illegal immigrants, committed a heinous crime.

The blame is for purposely ignoring the law and allowing people to enter the country illegally for, what I believe, is political and personal gain. It is absolutely shameful and disgusting to sacrifice the safety of others, including our children, in order to gain votes for the left.

Clearly foreseeable and willful, there can be no denying that.
